Downloaded and install with no problem, after upstart Photo frezed up.
I needed to remove the crashandle in taskmamager to get Photo working.
There was no error report.
The most problems where I fixed to is the big PS brushes, but this time everything was working. -
+1 for my to, for some images yes, but mostlye not needed.

I have after the 23H2 win11 also some hangs or 100% system crash with the regulair 2.2.1.xxx version.
I have also the newest beta 2.3.x.xxxx and have no problems. So I think is related to 23H2 -
After update to 2.2 I have by using brushes (paint mixer, fingerpaint, name it...) no responding errors. Slow exporting. pfffff
I have try both stable 2.2 and the leatest beta. For 2.2 I had to set opencl to off so I can do some work. I'am not happy with this one.
Oke there was a new studio driver some day's ago. maby this has some effect. -

Ai-art is funny yes, and you can do a lot with it, but.... yes there is always a but in case, you need to see it as a tool for inspiration and maby some items you can use in you own design,art, composition. There will always need for the human to edit, thats the way I use it. Without AP it will be shit.

Its not done local, there is need a very big database with several models. For Generation you need strong and fast servers.
Midjourney works with Discord where the Bot is working.
But we will see what the future will bring.

Well let me say to this theme, I use both together, text to art and afterwards editing and combine in Affinity photo.
because the images you get the first a very low based, things are not really you want, so its to you as artist to get the picture you have in mind by yourself. -

You have 100% right.... I should have used erase white paper.... Yoy where slichty 1 second faster!!!

After some try's I have removed 2.1.0.1709 and going back to 2.1.0.1706.. Here I have no problems.

After upadting to leatest 1709.... my whole win11 home (windows insider build 22623.1325) was very slow and sometimes hanging.
So de-installed this one. build 1706 has no problems. -
The layout is I think too childish, but if you work sometime with it I don't see it anymore.
So far I use the beta I have no problems found in my workflow. But you never no. -

I have try to import one of the my many brushes I get error import not possible!
with other words, I can't use V2 !!!! -
After start of V2 this day, I see that the whole Brush list is 100% empthy...
Re-installation has no effect at all. and Now?

To me its working 100%, so its I think a combination of soft and hardware configuration. I hope you find a way to get yours working.
Its working under Win 11 (windows insider beta) with a i5-11400F and 48 gb 3200mhz Ram on a Msi 590Z motherboard and RTX 3060 in combi with a Nvidia studio driver. -
it was already clear from the beginning that every new version has a new licence model. Yes Serif can ask some more for it, thats their rights. Every thing cost more, also they have to buy also their food and more.
So simple I have buy the new one without complaining. -
