Hey all...a relatively modest (but not simple) layers question: First, how do I take image one and paste it on image two, such that there is a precise size match. Image one is 'filtered' but a different size than the original image . Second, once the layers are matched, how do I selectively erase 'filtered' features from the now two layered image? Thanks!

I have Affinity Windows (1.5.2.69) and Filter Forge 6 (6.009) and I can neither get Filter Forge to work (see attached error message), nor can I delete Filter Forge in order to update the connection in Affinity without a crash (see attached). Any help in regards to getting this to work would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

Is there a shortcut to brush size/hardness, without manually adjusting it via the 'width' slider? In PS, (on Windows), it's Alt + Right Mouse -drag left right to decrease/ increase brush size and up/down decrease/ increase brush hardness. Thanks, much appreciated!

I really like Affinity help...very useful. Still, it could be more useful: Feature Request (which may not be possible in the short/medium terms): Make a subject a 'live link', allowing a user to click on it, bringing them to the actual tab/tool etc. Alternatively, (and less complicated): Use a screenshot to show precisely where a given tab/tool etc. is, making it easier for newbies (me included) to find. Sorry, I'm disabled, and I can't get this to work (I'm a whiz at Photoshop CS, if that means anything): I open an image. Using 'Studio View', I select the 'Layers' tab on the right (I guess that means 'layers panel'?). I select the Move tool...but the 'Transform panel' is grayed out. I tried adding a new layer...nothing. I tried 'Select All'...nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks.

Is there a 'fade opacity' function in Affinity? In Photoshop, it's 'Control/Shift/F'...it's kind of a graded undo. Thanks!

I've used Photoshop for many years (which is part of the problem), so I know how to edit an image...unfortunately, I'm having problems with very simple edits in Affinity: Re: The Paintbrush Tool: I can't seem to paint anything. Image is there...paintbrush is there. Color: RGB. Opacity does nothing...I'm trying to paint black and I'm getting nothing. Layers: None. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

First post...must say I'm loving Affinity. Long time PS/Gimp user, and Affinity really hits the sweet spot in value...good job! Re: Brush Width Shortcuts...I know the brackets are a useful keyboard shortcut, but I would love (love) a PS-like shortcut that allows mouse: right click-drag (or something similar) to increase/decrease brush size.
