Every times i want to do something like this Afffinity is my best choice.

I think this problem occurs with AMD RADEON video cards after testing Affinity Photo on 3 different systems, First system: Windows 10 home intel core i7 6700k cpu 4gz , memory 24,000 mb video card NVIDIA GEFORCE 750 TI memory 2,048 mb NO PROBLEM Second system :Windows 7 Pro Intel Xeon 3360 2.8 gz memory 8,000 mb video card NVIDIA GFORCE GT 220 memory 1,024 mb , a little bit slower but NO REAL PROBLEM Third system : windows 7 Pro intel core i7 3770 3,4 gz memory 16,000 mb video card AMD Radeon HD 7800 series memory 2,048 mb Very very slow and crash!!

You are absolutely right about light and reflection but the intention was not to be realistic but rather to see what was possible to do using layers and masks with a single photo. Thanks , your comments are always welcome.

Defenitely it is a real pleasure to work with! After trying many softwares in this price rage, i can say that Affinity photo is unbeatable! The more i work with, the more i can see how powerful it is!

Finally, i found the way to do it. Just copy your drawing and paste special as a portable document format., You will obtain 2 separate layers, a vector layer for the drawing and a pixel layer for the drop shadow.

It would be very useful to have a possibility to put the drop shadow of a photo object on a separate layer.

In fact the reason is very simple, the phone booth is mirror reversed to correspond to the background photo light. Now i can see, it would be better to reverse the background photo instead of the phone booth. :) Thanks for your comment.
