Thanks Guys! Will see how this one goes, particularly with RAW file load times -
Affinity Photo Customer Beta - 1.6.0.72

Looking good so far...pixellation on monitors with non-standard dpi is fixed, as is the Process and Cancel buttons in the RAW persona. Thanks guys! -
Thumbnails on Windows 10
Dave Quail replied to Dave Quail's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on Windows threads
Nope, refreshing doesn't help, sadly :) This only happens when I process a RAW CR2, then convert and save as afphoto. -
Hi Guys, When I save an afphoto in Beta 71, the image is not being saved on the thumbnail. I do have the option turned on in Prefs. It works with Export>>>jpeg, etc., and saving an afphoto with thumbnail also works in 1.5.2. (Save as...)

Agreed. Same result as Alfred with the marching ants. -
Affinity Photo Customer Beta - 1.6.0.71
Dave Quail replied to Mark Ingram's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on Windows threads
Hi Sean, dpi is 125% and I have the problem. Worked on 1.5 @ 125% though. If I set 100%, pixellation is gone when viewing an image at 100% or higher -
Exactly the same problem here. At 100% in Affinity 1.5.2 final, PS CC, Paintshop Pro X9, Dxo Optics Pro 11 there is no pixellation. Only in both Beta 70 and 71.

Still the same pixellation in 71...I mask and do selections at 100% so this beta is unusable for me so far. -

I agree with this. Cursor is fine if Stabilisation is never used, which is not really what we are after here :) -

Same here: Beta has expired...Uninstalled all and removed registry entries and reinstalled. Working now. Develop Persona missing the Develop and Cancel Icons. Just blank boxes now. -

That is a top notch system. AP's performance is a difficult one to call here. Possible AV, etc.??? -

I do find Ps CC way more responsive than AP as well. -

Startup for me is also around 7 secs for a cold start, 4 secs warm start. CR2's take 10 secs on average to open. -

I agree with Halo...same problems here. The History "Engine" uses a lot of resources, to the detriment of the responsiveness of AP. Turn off History in Studio helps a lot, but I need History to be turned on as most users do. Details slider on the Denoise filter does nothing for me either. -

Thanks for the new Beta. Well worth the wait for me. AP is far more responsive, starts up quickly and RAWS open in less than half the time it took on the previous Beta. Appreciated! -

The 54 release is more buggy than the 63 beta -

Agreed. Why should we have to revert to a product that is technically inferior to the Beta we were using? Sort this out a.s.a.p. -
