On the latest release 1.6.4.104 Windows Store version it take 12 secs on a 24Mp CR2 Canon Raw on my secondary PC (i3, 8Gb RAM)

Well 1.6.4.104 is the new released version. IMHO a worthy release!

Beta 104 installed without problems, and IMHO loads quicker than 103 and prior. (Might be my imagination, but to me it is quicker)

I can report no issues here with my 6D MkII, 1Dx, and older 5D. Must be another reason as Mark says, Windows, AV possibly, etc.?

I notice now that AP beta displays "Loading Fonts" on startup. Is it loading the full set of Windows fonts, and would the number of fonts being loaded affect AP startup times?

Hi all, just some feedback on the start up issue. It is solved. With really nothing else to go on, I removed by the Monitor and Display Adapter in Device Manager, let Windows 10 rediscover the Monitor, and installed the Display Adapter drivers (AMD/ATi) from scratch. Photo Beta now opens in 7-9 secs from a cold start, and 5 secs from a warm start, so back to normal. Befor the monitor and Display adapter re-installation, a warm start was around 45 secs!

Also confirning this issue...

Hi Guys, What are the command line switches to allow AP Beta to output a debug text file? I would like to send this in for analysis, as for the past week AP is starting up like thick molasses. Previously it was always within 10 sec from a cold boot and around 5 secs from a warm boot. I have done a CTRL start and cleaned up everything on the list, but to no avail. There have been no updates, or any other installations of any kind since the last time it started properly. Last update on Win10 1709 was a Malicious Software Removal (MRTSTUB.EXE) tool on the 10th Jan. Am an MCSE to watch these things like a hawk. And, this is happening on both my main PC and my laptop. This is driving me nuts, as Photoshop CC, etc., have not been affected. Thanks in advance!

I agree, as per my scenario below: Add Live Lighting Duplicate Layer Change Lighting controls on *Duplicate Layer* Ctrl-Z when Lighting Control is displayed resets the lighting, but not in my case, the settings for Inner and Outer Cones However, clicking Reset on the Lighting Control does reset both lighting and controls

Do you have the stabilizer turned on or off? I find I getting far better results in Window mode. This is a quick mouse sqiggle

Hi Guys, I have just tried this on Beta '98, and I don't have this problem. I have exported both Jpg's and Png's with Embed Metadata on and off and AP exports to the size I specify.
