  2. Yes, it ist usable. But i wonder why they do not fix (since endless releases) the scale controller under a image frame. This thing is always somewhere on the page and i have to reset the zoom to have this right in the middle of the image.
  3. ...this phenomenon stopped after several reboots of the computer. it did only affect publisher and i cant reproduce it. spooky!
  4. When i restart it works for several tasks, but after some usage the problem occurs. I wish the developers (also Apple) would take more care that the existing features actually work, instead of bringing tons and gigabytes of new features every year...
  5. I am on a M1 MacMini and i did NOT update to macOS Monterey yet. However, i did the last Affinity Updates. Since today i am not able to use Publisher anymore because the tool that i select does not correspond with the cursor. See the attached photo.

  7. I have a question regarding these services. Is there an easy way to find out the photographers Names after i have placed the image, for crediting them (for example in the imprint)?
  8. I have a question about the workflow with importing text in Publisher. We use Scrivener for all our articles. How can i import them in Publisher and replace the font-styles and -sizes with defined styles in Publisher? Right now i have to go through the whole article and setup everything by hand (which is a source for errors..). Or what is your workflow for working with articles?
  9. Naja, das was sich immer verändert hat seit dem etwas das letzte mal funktioniert hat: ein Update wurde installiert 🤢 Ich denke, ich warte auf das nächste Update das diesen Fehler behebt – und bin gespannt, welche Funktionen dann wieder lahmgelegt werden.
  10. Publisher akzeptiert keine Dezimalwerte mehr in den Menüs. z.B. im Zeichen Menü kann man bei der Abstandskorrektur nur noch ganze Zahlen eingeben.
  11. I have a large document with 96 pages, around 250 MB in total. I can export with the PDF standard settings. But when i use PDF/X-4, i get an export error. I know that PDF export is not state-of-the-art in Affinity and the problem is widespread, so i don’t think we can solve it by analysing my specific document. Does anyone have successfully done a workaround?
  12. Ok, i have checked if it makes a difference how the two textboxes (Head 1 and Head 2) are ordered. It isn’t. Also the tabs are not the problem.

  14. Please can someone help me; in the TOC, the Page numbers are always in the next line. What can i do, to have them on the same line as the entry/headline is? So, there is lot more confusion.... I have a brochure, around 90 Pages and the TOC is messed up from the middle. I mostly have two headlines Head Sub-Headline and - i dont know why - from around page 50 the Head from page 50 is wrongly assigned two Sub-Headline on page 54... For now i just can’t make use of the TOC and i will make it manually....
  15. Ich versuche, die vorbereiteten Artikel für ein Magazin in Publisher zu organisieren. Dazu meine ich, die Funktion „Assets” gefunden zu haben. Dort habe ich also Kategorien und Unterkategorien erstellt, was einen guten Überblick gibt. Leider gelingt es mir nicht, die Assets in ihrer Reihenfolge oder auch zwischen den Kategorien zu verschieben. Gibt es da einen Trick den ich nicht kenne? Oder wie organisiert ihr eure Inhalte bei größeren Projekten, Katalogen, Broschüren...?
  16. Thank you!! I somehow managed it by changing the page margins. But it seems to be a new bug. The document in the screenshot was not changed in the previous Publisher version in any way. Old version, Document OK. After update: Work messed up, missed deadline.
  17. help!! I have installed 1.9 and suddenly on the upper area of a page i have unwanted gaps/empty lines in the text. i attached a screenshot. this was definetely not in the previous version. My problem is now that i have to workaround a project with over 80 pages in it, if i can’t get a solution. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
  18. Oh, i was afraid of that answer. Sorry, but this is not really a batch processing. Then i have to go with an extra app again and again and again... Affinity have so much funny features, but so much is missing that i already had 20 years ago with free software.
  19. Hello! How can i tell Affinity Photo to batch process a whole folder with several sub-folders? If i choose a folder, the OK button is greyed out.
  20. I wonder if the UI can‘t be responsive to different screen sizes on iOS. I (try to) use Affinity on the 12,9 iPad Pro...
  21. In Photo on the iPad I Miss those three useful buttons on the left bottom corner. Have them in Designer (see acreenshot), but not in Photo. What‘s the reason? Such differences (IMHO) hamper the workflow.
  22. Where can i switch the rulers in Affinity Designer?
