  1. My mistake, I confused this category with"Resources" category sorry! Now I realize that you created a personal showcase in the forum with multiple small works (in the same post) only for promotion. again sorry
  2. Can you provide some working files of this long list of small examples made with Affinity? It may be more useful for others thanks
  3. Nice work! I made a different experiment with the isometric view with Symbols for a mock-up AD is very nice! https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/32968-ad-only-isometric-mock-up-with-symbols/
  4. oh thanks! in any case less than 120 hours :) I worked smoothly and fastly with AD, more than AI.
  5. Maybe it depends on the percentage of use. for example, if 33% of AP customers comes from Linux the current price is ok. However, if this percentage is under 5% the development of the software is more expensive; maybe 200 are not enough. it make sense?
  6. Guys, it would be nice, however not all elements made with AD can be converted into CSS. The fast way to share a vector shape is the SVG and I'm able to copy / paste the code between several apps.
  7. the development of a web app requires a different kind of work, you must follow the development of several tecnologies. Apple erased iweb for this reason Maybe is better than Affinity team works only on the current suite. Or we must wait a couple of USD millions of gain to see a new project :) Skills vs Time if you are a professional you can use more than one software, some Knowledge HTML, CSS and abit of javascript are required. A new interesting tool to make site is also HYPE PRO version 3, (fully WYSIWYG) AD & AP + Hype = powerful tools and work floor extremely customizable. I founded this portal for Hype, with a lot of free contents and info. http://www.hypedocks.com If you don't like the code ( any kind of code) and you have no much time you can use RapidWeaver ( + stacsk plugin and a decent Template). RW is not WYSIWYG but is the most powerful software for non developers with a rich list of tools.
  8. thanks a lot guys. after a couple of weeks of use I have practiced with AD, I'm very happy.
  9. yes, in AI this job is not easy like AD but in AI you can use guidelines with more flexibility, depends on the job. the circular cloning is great in AD. This type of job is perfect for AD, Seems watermark banknote, nice. The symbol is powerful, (although has few options) but is perfect for this purpose, just learn from this kind of works.
  10. "decent" is enough for painting, vector illustrations and photo editing in WiFi. With the cable connected the tablet works fine. the cable of the Cintiq is big and not comfortable; you can work only on your desktop, the WIFI with iPad Pro is just a plus
  11. I used for years ( over 10) wacom tablet and also the Wacom Cintiq 12. I've left wacom for ipad pro 12.9 (in screen sharing with a mac, with support for pencil) for 3 main reasons: - wireless ( using astropad app) with decent performances. - minimum space ( almost null) between the pen tip and the sign on the screen. - Size and weight of the device these three reasons, in the real world, make the difference in my job.
  12. @LilleG @Aeros4 and @bleduc thanks a lot The real plus of AD is that I can use vectors only, the texture is an object. I love this APP BTW can't wait ( and I know that I Have to wait...) to try also the AD app on my IPad Pro and not only in shared screen. Affinity team Help me staying with mac. I will not buy a surface pro, please!!!
  13. I've bought AP only to "paste " the (pixel based) filter to AD, although it cost is a bit over my previsions The real perspective filter (vector transform) will be available in the next release only, not free and not tomorrow, this is clear. Now we can use only isometric view, see my example, possibly deformed with the perspective filter, if you want https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/32968-ad-only-isometric-mock-up-with-symbols/&p=160288
  14. My pleasure :) Has anyone tried the template? what do you think? it's a good idea? thanks
  15. nice list, Line Smoothing and Pattern Fill are two missing features, I agree I can't wait too see also Affinity Publisher and maybe some new ipad Apps like AP. My request instead is to improving the stability of AD mac. The time I lost in crashes is priceless. So, add this important "peace in mind" feature please
  16. Yes I know. AD and AP share the same engine, I've bought AP only to "paste" the Perspective distortion tool ( I'm a bit surprised for that). I'm in waiting for the next release of AD with perspective transforms as a standard tool. anyway, in my work also the isometric view is good  happy new year !
  17. thanks a lot! it helped me to understand. after some test I've tried also another way ( without AP), take a look I used symbol + crop tool + skew for an isometri view
  18. Hi guys, I've checked this video (at 1:10) and this post about the Mock-up Maybe I'm not the first to try this way but it works and I can edit all contents in real time without AP. The current version of AD does not support the Perspective Distortion but the isometric view is pretty nice ( you can add the PD through AP). - Mock-up as a symbol. - duplicate the symbol, add a group (one of each face) - add the vector crop tool and crop each face - add skew and rotate each face. - add shadows and light reflections to isometric view. in the example you can edit the box and the isometric view reflect your modification. DOWNLOAD TEMPALTE Michelangelo ________ BTW, Another project with AD file: Medusa
  19. yes! years of 2d/3d and photography. This software is the missing ring in my work. normally I use Photoshop + AI but not this time :o thanks for your suggestions, this is my first work, I've spent a lot of time on testing the software. take a look, this is the floats section.
  20. a lot of Cormorants in New Year :) I have this passion too
