It seems like Divide is having trouble when it comes to shapes that have been expanded from a stroke. I've been able to reproduce this several times, here are the steps and a video: 1. Create a circle with a stroke 2. Expand the stroke 3. Duplicate the expanded circle and intersect them 4. Click Divide, it will just sit there with a progress bar but nothing happens, I end up force quitting the app Screen_Recording_2020-02-21_at_8_16.19_AM.mov

In Beta 2, it looks like syncing on symbols with text boxes is not working correctly. I've attached a screen capture of it in action. Steps to recreate: 1. Create a symbol with a text box in it. 2. Drag another instance of symbol on art board. 3. Turn syncing off and try and change text or styling of the text for a single instance. (It still syncs back to symbol, while syncing is turned off) text-symbol-not-working-correctly.mov

When using grids with art boards, I'm finding that points are not aligning to the grid properly (with align to grid turned on), it seems to be offset by a bit. (video attached) Also noticed that if you create art boards in a document that has a custom grid already, the Grid and Axis Manager dialogue box has all the custom settings grayed out. You have to check and uncheck Use Automatic Grid. (video attached) Also just noticed that with 2 art boards, grid snapping will work on the first art board but not (or not correctly) on the 2nd art board. Still having issues (since last beta 1.3.5.4) with slow panning and zooming when the grid is on, seems to only be an issue with any grid other than the automatic grid. I've tested this on my 5K iMac, Retina Macbook and Retina Macbook Pro. Custom grids work fine in the MAS version. slow-grid.mov -
Affinity Designer Customer Beta (1.3.5.4)

I've noticed on my 5k iMac that in 1.3.5.4, panning (with swipe left / right on Magic Mouse) and zooming (holding Option and swipe up / down on Magic Mouse) with a Isometric grid turned on is noticeably laggy compared to the Mac App Store version of Designer. -

I'm experiencing the same issue, but haven't got it to go away. -
I have to say when I first saw them (gut feeling), I instantly loved them. Then once I saw the process graphics at the bottom of the article, I started to like the step before the gradient was introduced. However the more and more I looked at them, I really think the final versions they are great! Much better than the original icons in my opinion. The new ones feel more modern and similar with what Adobe does. As much as I dislike Adobe now, I still do like their use of color in there app branding. I think they'll look really nice sitting on my Mac's Dock. :)

I have the latest customer beta install (1.021861) on my iMac 5k and my Macbook Pro with Retina. Files created or saved in this version continue to have icon previews and Quick Look previews on my Macbook but the icon previews and Quick Look previews have disappeared on my iMac. Files saved in the MAS version on my iMac still show the previews just fine as do other files types. I'm running the latest OS X 10.10.2 Preview build on both machines. Things I've tried with NO success: 1. Created a new user account on my iMac and saved a new Affinity Designer document 2. Deleted the associated Quick Look cache and preference files from my Library folder 3. Restarted Quick Look and Finder from Terminal.app 4. Ran Repair Permissions from Disk Utility 5. Rebooted my iMac I can't seem to figure out any way to get the previews to show.

Affinity Designer Customer Beta (1.0.21458)

I'm having an issue where layers cannot be named. When I double-click, sometimes a random layer (or what seems random) will give me the label "Name of Object" but the input field will be blue rather than white and will not allow me to type any text into it. Only way I have been able to fix it each time is to restart Designer.
