  1. I would greatly like to love Linux but in a graphic user interface world Linux is still at the command prompt.

  3. I've read on this forum that when Publisher is released that it will be years before it contains all the functionality that Page Plus currently has. So it would be a good idea to get Page Plus at the ridiculously low price it is at now and run the two side by side. The problem stated is that Publisher won't import PP extensions. The work around to this would be to use PDF between applications.
  4. I'm using Xara for DTP and website creation while waiting on AP. Unfortunately they have no plans on a replacement for their WebPlus and you can't even purchase it legacy. So I guess I will be using Xara for web publishing for some time to come.
  5. So I made a button design and now I want to make multiple copies evenly spaced horizontal and vertical on a page. How do I go about this in AD?
  6. Everyone is hoping that HitFilm would be a good alternative for AfterEffects but it still has a long ways to go.
  7. I agree. There are plenty of video editing options available. What is needed is an After Effect alternative.
  8. I am on Windows and I don't see a C:\ProgramData Never-mind I selected show hidden files and it appeared. Thanks
  9. I searched the file system for Affinity Photo for Windows but I didn't see a plug in folder.
  10. I tried to install this myself and the first problem I encountered is that it asks you where you want it installed too. What folder should we use to install photoshop plug ins too? I assume the program installer looks for photoshop and when it doesn't see it then it asks you to determine where to install it too. Thanks...
  11. So to activate it in Affinity Photo Edit -> Preferences -> Photoshop Plugins -> check the box "Allow Unknown plugins to be used"
  12. Its a small team. They are building from scratch and everyone wants AP to have InDesign capabilities right out of the gate. Its going to take time as expectations for 1.0 are extremely high.
  13. Interesting, Filter Forge says it doesn't work but they are trying to get it to work. I have a copy of Version 3 that I might try. I wanted up upgrade to the latest version before attempting.
  14. Any idea when the Filter Forge plug-in integration problem will be resolved? I hear on older beta's it was working but on the official release versions it doesn't.
