I saved them as separate files and they came in as separate layers.

So here is how I solved the problem. I downloaded Inkscape and installed. It took me awhile to get familiar with the interface as I have never used the program before. I then exported the text afdesign file to SVG. I imported the SVG logo and text into Inkscape and did the Xor boolean cut. I noticed that the text cut into the logo was only the original font size and wasn't including the expanded stroke I did in AD. I told Inkscape to autotrace the text and then did the cut again. Perfect! Still not sure how to accomplish this in AD after spending hours trying.

Saved both text and logo as afdesign files and still no luck. When I do get the ability to do an Xor (not grayed out) it simply deletes the logo instead of cutting the letters into it.

I have an svg logo and I am trying to Xor some text overlay without any success. I was able to do it when I created an object in AD but for some reason it doesn't work when importing a object. Am I missing something?

Well I purchased 2.0 before I knew it was a Windows App. I have never installed a Win App and I don't plan on starting so I plan on using 1.9 for the foreseeable future.

Does anyone know if V2 will work with Win 8.1? I see in the requirements they state Win 10/11.

Reset new target date...

Considering this is version 1 of the software there are still bugs that need to be worked out and features that need to be added before they release a SDK.

I would say 6 months after their target date. This is probably why they don't want to tell anyone what their target date is. 🙄

Yeah I have the same problem but it only occurs with Designer for me. Also, have revered back to 1.9.2 for Designer only. Haven't tested the other 2 yet but at least they open.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled with same results. Downgraded to previous version and works fine. So now I have the new versions of Photo and Publisher working fine and the previous version of Designer working fine. Go figure... [Win 8.1]

Just updated all 3 apps and Designer is the only one that will not open now. It gets to "loading fonts" and then exits.

It appears like flipPDF is or was a Flash app. Your online version doesn't seem to need flash. What format did you render too?

I like how the online version came out. What program did you use to put that together?

Thank you for your prompt reply and fix. I made the changes and indeed that corrected the problem. Of course the pdf is another issue.

Well I uploaded the files but I still see zero downloads. So I guess its not a top priority.
