[Affinity Photo typing in Arabic]

I'm using Affinity Photo for Windows. My question is does it support typing in Arabic? because when I tried to the letters appeared detached where it should be connected. Also it appeared out of order, the last letter in the word comes first for some reason.

 

Detached = ع ن ب

Connected = عنب

 

This problem happen with Photoshop and there was a solution for it. I'm not sure where or how to do it in Affinity Photo if it's there.

[I can't find the text tool]

Noon, you might try selecting the "Customize Tools..." item from the View menu (it is next to the last item on that menu) & looking for the text tool icons in the panel that pops up. There should be three of them, a "Frame Text" with a triangle in the corner that is the combined Frame & Art one followed by a pair for each individual tool. Drag which ever of these you want onto the Tools panel at whatever position you want.

[I can't find the text tool]

I'm a new user for Affinity Photo. I've bought it today and started using it. My problem is that I can't find the text tool on the left bar along side with the brush and other tools. I found all the text editing dialogue but I can't type to begin with.
