Hi, what happened here? In a preword of a book with nine pages and some pics in it I found at the end of the text this text again – but an older version. By deleting the second version page by page (may be there is a way to mark the hole text) Afpub crashed. It´s ok now. But what was the mistake? Reg. lars

The problem was a PDF in RGB/16, in /8 it is ok. Why it changed after working weeks...?

EDIT: In the head menue: layer > in text integrated. Hi, there is a text in Publisher in which are included frames for pics (the blue one). Now some of them are fixed on der page and text runs behind them if it grows or becomes less. Sometimes it is not clear how to move them for they seems to be fixed. Others run with the text as a paragraph. In a text programm an anker is to set. How to change all frames to do this, moving with the text, please? Thanks and regards, lars

Hi, if in Export a PDF is made, in the Finder the title shows a very old print name (title: ...-Moore), but not the guilty title of the *.afpub (...2020-ABuch). How to change please? Reg. lars

Thanks, in former times Blurb gave an own *.icc. But now their printers, as others, work with Adobe(98) (or sRGB) and that works ok for me. My problem or better interest is: why shows the screen of the macbook in one line different bright-dark. The JPG out from C1 have no difference if they will import again. But this JPG are shown darker in Afpub in the dark parts. A kind of black in C1 RGB 22 in Afpub is RGB 18 (≈ 20%). Bright colors are equal with the Digital Color Meter (Mac). Hi, I think the screen icc is the original mac: Farb-LCD_D65_201810061637.icc (I´m not able to act with the calibration in the mac; and the hardware calibration /x-rite/ was not so good as the mac; I only work for myself; I know about sRGB, what shall be better as Adobe(1998) and CMYC printing, what makes big files which blurb not will accept). My setting is Adobe(1998) in the camera, in Capt. One (C1-20) and in *.afpub and even in print (Blurb.de). The colors may be not very very the same in the print but they are good. May be the colors in the prints are more C1 than in the *.afpub. It is not a importend problem for me but it was fine to see in the same MacBook the same colors in both, C1 and Publisher. Ja, I think in this forum it is as anon2 says it. But on my screen it is a little more difference, may be darker only, but not only about the white frame. My stills are often dark or with dark background and I see less details in *.afpub. But may be the problem is the bright screen in C1... Reg. lars

Hi, Walt. When I started to use AFPUB it was, I believe to remember, as you say it, once. But now several times it does not. After sorting the pages I see now: from page 7 to 87 pics lack (fehlt), only the icons are to see. The first (1-6) and the last one (88-125) are OK (pics on right pages, verknüpft). I hoped to copy all JPG again to the folder, and then with actual. But that does not work. OK, thanks, Walt, it is faster to do it one by one. lars

Hi, in one folder are *.epub and the pics. Works for weeks. Suddenly a new start, click to the *.epub a frame says, some pics not here, want you to find them? Say yes or no: Many pics, but not all, in the ress. manager are marked as lack (fehlt). How to bring them back with one or too clicks, not step by step, one by one? Thanks, lars

Hi, it is new for me to check colors exact and I know nothing about it and do not understand the menue in the settings. The colors in Capture one and publisher you see in the pic are a little bit different. C1 makes more bright, not so dark. May be in the included pic it is not so clear to see as on my screen (my eyes are not so good). What ever I tried in changing colors I see no difference. Is there some help here or a book (german)? Where is the Affinity Publisher BOOK? All pics runs with AdobeRGB-98. Thanks, lars

Hi, to move more then 9, may be 10, pages does not work (frozen in the browser). If it works there is the image of a right page on the left side (with one image frame from master)... To select the first right page and then the last left page the selection sets only double pages and the mistake must follow. Reg. lars

Hi Dan, hope to remender what I did. My programms and the mac was MacBook Air (13", Mitte 2013) OSX 10.14.6. APhoto and ADes. came frome Apple shop, why ever, APu from Af-shop. If possibel i would like only to use Af--shop. As I told there was no icon to update in Apple-shop, only to open. And the same it was in the System setting. But looking around there I found the way. May be Apple shop was opened as I show below. That´s what I saw. After clicking somewhere it was possible to update. But there are no updates now. Regards, lars

Hi, after installing Mojave to the MacBook Air there is no Update from 1.8.1 to .3. Before the mac update was done it was to see that there was the update. In the mac shop I can open the old one. The same with Desighner. Publisher was updated before. What ist to do, please? Best, lars

Hi, Walt. It´s only to tell about; not importend for me now. You see a marked file (my dictionary says: marked; with the end: ...1026, a nearly white pic, the very small icon left). But the file which is named left below (end: ...1188) and the bigger icon right above (...1188) show not the marked file. What is shown is the pic which was marked before. After it I used cmd-arrow up twice. I think it would be better allways to show the name and bigger icon of the marked file/ pic. It must be used the mouse (pad) to click the marked file to show its name and icon. Reg. lars

Hi, for my books the afpub and the pics, which shall included, are in one folder. If I work with two books/ folders and want to include a new pic to this *.afpub Afpub search in the folder of last time – that may be the book 2. But to this time I may work in book 1 – so I must change the folder to find the pic what shall includeded. I would like, Afpub allways would first open the folder in which the *.afpub is. Reg., lars

Hi, in the DM it is possible to mark an included file/ pic, sure. The mark is to move with: cmd-arrow up down. But to do this, the new marked file is not shown as pic right up. That only works by using the mouse. I would prefer to see all pics if marked by scrolling. Reg., lars

Hi, may be a from time to time problem. In a afpub-b with 400 p. and 200 pics (and some empty pages at the and more) in the browser I wanted to move a group of ten pages to the end of pics (p. 400). It was choosen with mark the first double page and shift-click the last in the browser. But several times they don´t move. Two or three works, then the group of ten works; next try it don´t work. It happened four or five times. At the end it works again. May be you understand it. First the file came from af 1.7. Reg., lars @LarsHennings.de-abuch-beta.afpub

Thanks! It is ok now, but someday may be rastering could help. There are in the folder of the project more pics than in the book! That is the problem. If this are 20 pics, no problem. But if they are 200 yes. Now, with the beta, if I count the pics in the book, there may be an difference to this one in the folder – and I have to search, which pics I forgot. This is easier by having a new folder with the pics which are to that time are included. In Finder can be moved the two folders, then beside to eachother and sorted... Reg. lars

Hi, would be fine to move pages in the viewer up - down by arrows to have a color, red or yellow, as ruler; it becomes very little using 500 pages and the grey is not to find for "blinds". Thx. lars
