Hi, Carl, thanks, the problem may be there is no collect button in the ressource manager (mac). There are: search, actual. (greyed), change, include. What is marked can´t be copied as usual.
My situation: 200 pics and the *.afpub file are in one folder now, may be a PDF too. Works fine. But not all pics are included in the book. Which one? So a collect button which only copied the included pics was very fine. But... You have an idea where my mistake is? Reg., lars

Hi, moving afpub smaller and then bigger again the ruler of the viewer was gone. Restart makes it ok. Reg. lars

Hi, is there a place in an afpub to see how much pics are included. A good place would be to mark all pics the ressource organisation frame and to see it then. Thx. lars

Es lag ein Sicherheits-Update für Mojave (und Safari) vor. Das war problemlos, änderte jedoch nichts am Affinity-Problem (mit cmd-back geht weiter gar nichts, cmd-alt-back wie gehabt). Gruss, lars

Hi, in TextEdit klappt es, obwohl mir der Vorgang, eine Bilddatei in die Publikation einzubeziehen, einen anderen Charakter zu haben scheint. Wenn ich ein Afpub öffnen will, lässt sich dieses .afpub natürlich nicht löschen, eine andere Dateiform wird gar nicht angenommen, sondern nur Öffnen oder nicht.
Der Mojave-Dunkel-Modus ist nicht angeschaltet. Geschwärzt sollte nur heissen, das war früher in Sierra nicht so. Egal, warten wir das nächste Update ab. Gruss, lars

Ja, in Sierra ging´s. Aber da lief Capture One nicht mehr gut. Dazu hiess es damals, in meinem Verständnis, es sei auch innerhalb von Afpub einfach nur ein Fenster des Finder. Nun, geschwärzt, sieht es eher nach Affinity aus, dass dann ja auch angepasst werden könnte. Vor allem, um bei offenem Fenster dennoch andere Funktionen ausführen zu können, scrollen der Seiten etwa.
Ich verstehe überhaupt nicht, wie, wo ich denn in einem anderen Programm (welches?) eine Überprüfung machen kann/ soll. In Finder gibt es kein Problem. Nochmal: da der sich öffnende Rahmen doch Löschen anbietet, sollte diese Funktion auch zum Laufen zu bringen sein; ein Bug also. Aber, wenn Du mir sagst, was ich tun kann/ soll, mache ich das (sonst warte ich auf das nächste Update). Gruss, lars

Hi, ich bin nicht sicher, ob wir das Gleiche meinen. Ich will nur einzelne JPG löschen. Das sieht dann so aus. Und Klick auf LÖschen bewirkt nichts. Natürlich kann ich aus dem Finder das erledigen, aber es war praktisch bisher, dies in diesem Feld machen zu können, wenn Bilder aus dem Afpub entfernt wurden, was – wie der Rahmen zeigt – ansich auch vorgesehen ist. Aber ich komme auch so zurecht. Danke, lars

Hi, Thomaso. in der Tool-Leiste öffnet die "Postkarte" ein Finder ähnliches Feld mit den JPG, die ich in die Publikation einsetze. Darin konnte ich bisher JPG löschen wie im Finder (cmd-<). Jetzt rührt sich das nicht, aber mit alt-cmd-< öffnet sich ein Rahmen mit der Frage: löschen? Klappt aber nicht. Dank und Gruss, lars

Hi, since my macbook works with Mojave, in the pic-field (open left in the tools) it is not possible to delete pics. Before it works with cmd-<. Now it is shown (in black and) alt-cmd-< and it asks if the pic should be deletet, but it does not do that. What is the setting or mistake, please? In the normal Finder it works as before. Thx., lars

STOP - Thanks for help. This case is finished, I made a new file for rescale didn´t work – my mistake. I will test it again next time.

Nett, dass Du Dich so intensiv kümmerst. Im EDIT schrieb ich bereits, dass es ein dauerndes Kopieren war, die die 16 bit rekonstruierte. Nur wusste ich davon nichts, und da die Bücher sich drucken liessen... Selbst ich weiss, 16 bit machen keinen Sinn; aus 8 bit Vorgaben schon gar nicht. Wo die 16 bit mal herkamen?
@mac_heibu Jedenfalls war es jetzt kein Bug.

Hi, after you wrote, some JPG and the barcode had 16 bit, I was searching. The barcode and the JPG I found have 8 bit. In Afpub I found – as you showed in your screenshot – in document setting/ Dokumenteneinstellung the field: colour with CMYC/16 or RGB/16. In this moment to test the big PDF file I changed it to somewhat with /8. It works a moment, then the PDF could be made with 175 MB.
I never looked to that. My camera makes Adobe RGB (98), what was used in my scanner jears ago and is it my C1... And all prints the last time were ok (blurb.de > books; bod.de > books, fotoexact > foto prints/ poster). The printers handle it today well (or good enough for me, my eyes).
It is not that I want to say: not me is the stupid before the monitor. May be it happened while I changed from 30x30 cm to the 21x21 cm. I don´t know. Shall I look to old Afpub?
EDIT: Ja, there are more with RGB/16, but smaller books. Startimg a new book I copied the old one – all the same 30x30 cm. But they only include half of pages, so it made no problem; one has CMYC/16. lars

Hi, I don´t understand all I think. All pics and the barcode are used in the next afpub. But I now know to have a look to the color field. In the old Afpub (660 MB PDF) I only set this field from JPG/16 (wherever it may come from) to CMYC/8, then it runs. Some secrets must be in the world. Best, lars

Hi, thanks. I never changed parameters, and all JPG make C1 in 8 bit. But you are right, changing this in: Colour makes a fine PDF. Nice day!

So, the Afpub is made new, added the old small JPG; no text this moment: PDF 300 dpi makes 175 MB now, runs normal.

Fine to hear!!! It´s a mac-beta? Why I don´t got it. Where can I get it? I looked around... When will the next ver. come out? Best, lars
