  1. So if Affinity supposedly supports OCIO, why aren't the profiles I have set up in my OCIO files available there? It's seems like some sort of weird homemade half baked support. Completely unlike the reference implimentation.
  2. I watched those videos which were no help. It only shows how to set up a view transform which isn't the issue. There are two things I don't understand; #1 There doesn't seem to be any place for me to specify what primaries I would like my CR2 developed to (Chosen from my OCIO config). #2 The image is developed with very dark exposure. It's almost as though it has some sort of double transform applied. I am not a color newbie. I have successfully set up color pipelines for feature films before. I have attached a CR2 file that I would like to process to an ACEScg (AP1 primaries) linear EXR. If there is anyone who can demonstrate how to develop this, I would be very grateful. The standard 1.1 or 1.2 ACES OCIO config is fine to use. Thanks in advance for any help or advice. IMG_0174.CR2
  3. Hi, I am trying to do a simple task. I want to take a Canon cr2 file and convert to to an ACEScg exr file. I can't figure out how to do this. The OCIO stuff in affinity makes no sense to me. It seems to be unlike any other application that supports OCIO. All other applications just seem to work with no fuss (Photoshop excluded). I have checked that my color preferences can see my OCIO config. I have changed the develop assistant to 32bit. When I develop a cr2 file and then export it to EXR, it seems to export a sRGB exr. Does anyone have any tips?
