  1. Well, Serif could just give promo codes to people who ask them to. SO VERY FEW PEOPLE
  2. In a previous post you said there are limitations on how many promo codes you can make, so you won't transfer standalone licenses to the store counterparts. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/publish/generate-promotional-codes As you can see from the link above, the only limitation is 1600 promo codes max each 6 months. Since the number all of us that does want to transfer their licenses is <<<< 1600, you should consider this
  3. 3) In a previous post one of you said Affinity store will have longer life than the Microsoft one
  4. well, trying to help a bunch of people to transfer their licenses it's not mass distribution. I think you can generate 20 promo codes to the 20 people who bought your software outside the windows store interested in transfering the licenses.
  5. Some developers already did this, i cannot see why Serif team won't other than trying to make more profit from the ones who alrady purchased their software
  6. There is plenty of app with in-app purchases. Affinity team could provide a 7-day trial with the option to register with an existing code or an in-app purchase at the end of the trial period
  7. Isn't it possible to set free the windows store version and ask for a valid key/purchase one on first startup?
  8. As title say i really want to switch from the standalone version to the store one. I've been one of the windows early adopters, and since i read here in the forum that there wouldn't be any windows store version i decided to purchase them at the time. Now it looks like things changed and i feel a bit pissed that there is no way to get the windows version with my actual license. A very smart and painless alternative would be to set free the windows store version and ask for a valid key/purchase one on first startup
