  1. Almost 3 years later... Is there still no solution? I have thousands of PSD documents with clipping paths created in Photoshop. If I open these files in Affinity Photo, the path is missing.
  2. Thank you for your reply MEB! The clipping path was created with Photoshop. And I would like to open the PSD file with Affinity Photo. (see also my more detailed description at the top of this thread)
  3. It's really a pity that clipping paths are still not supported. This is a very basic feature. My plan was to switch to Affinity Photo, I bought it already last year, to support this great company. Unfortunately I need to renew now my Photoshop / Indesign subscription again.
  4. Hi MEB Thank you for your fast reply. It's a pity that this is not possible without Photoshop. Because if I have to use Photoshop for this, then I can stay using Photoshop. My idea was to move from Photoshop to Affinity Photo. I think the workflow with clipping paths is very common for publishers of brochures, flyers, catalogs... So when can we expect this feature in Affinity Photo?
  5. I tried to import a PSD file with clipping path. Unfortunately there is no "path" function in Affinity Photo. How can this be done with Affinity Photo? (without opening the files first in Adobe Photoshop) If not, when can we expect this feature? (My workflow: several thousand PSD files with clipping path -> some retouching with photosoftware e.g. Affinity Photo -> placing in Indesign documents, e.g. for brochures)
