I would like to select an object and set its style (color, stroke, etc) as "default". I've found I can can copy the object and paste only its style using ctrl+shift+V, but as soon as select the Pen Tool, the default style is a another style (formerly, manually set). Could I set the "default style" only manually? I thought the eye dropper would enable to pick a style, but it's only for RGB colors.
I also struggle to select objects in the scene view, even if the "container layer" is selected in Layer panel. I suspect it's because whenever I click somewhere, some overlapping layer is selected. How do you create stuff in a specific container Layer? I remember a kind of "draw in currrent layer"-like function but layer context menu doesn't show such thing. Should I mannually lock all the other layers? What's the simplest way to work in a layer while still seeing other layers?
I didn't get the thing about transform origins (eg: to scale something using a specific center.) using "enable transform. EDIT: I finally found that control key must be pressed for scaling, (but no need for rotation? not very intuitive...)
If I put several instances of the same symbol, and transform each instance in different ways, I can't find how to "reset" an instance to its default transform. The only way I've found is to delete it and drag a fresh new instance, which seems quite cumbersome.
my overall impression is that a lot of alt/shift/ctrl key pressed have to be known, and not mentionned in the UI. Eg: boolean operation are non-destructive if alt is pressed, but it's not mentionned in the UI when you need it (for exemple on boolean hover). Same with "hiding all layers but one", found this by chance in a video tutorial, but the function is not visible in any context menu.
thanks
