Hi, if I want to select the red circle it always selects the text box, although the circle is outside the text box. That's because Affinity uses the whole paragraph size (blue area) for selecting and not the text box itself. This must be change. Uli

My drivers are up to date. It happens in all combinations: With Intel Graphics 620, with GTX 1050, with and without OpneCL: I open any file, zoom in and out 20 to 40 times and all Apps crashes. > Are the Affinity apps set to be high performance in Windows settings? I'm using the Surface Book 2 with 16GB RAM, 512GB HD, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8650U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.11 GHz and GeForce GTX 1050 and a 4K Monitor as a second screen. Every vew minutes all apps are crashing especially when I zoom in and out. This doesn't happen when I use the laptop screen. Uli 😞

Right click on the Publisher icon on the task menu of Windows only shows the pictures I've used not the Publisher files. This is useless for Affinity Publisher. And when I work with eg. 3 Publisher files again and again, I only see all the imported files, no Publisher files. (I posted this under Designer's bugs, but this is Publisher, sorry)

No program works like this. Sorry, it is a bug, not a feature. And useless for Affinity Publisher.

Thank you, Walt! I don't print, I always export things like PDF. That's why I haven't used the print dialog. With Windows 10 I can print into a PDF file, that's ok. Paste Style works, thanks a lot!

My wish list to improve Affinity software (first suggestions): - Keep all export settings "from the last time", even between all apps. - Photo: open dialogs (adjustments, filters, effects ...) with default values instead of zero, so I can see directly what happends (on/off in preferences) - bring CMYK swatches - print and export more pages on one page (eg. 6 business cards on one page) - copy outline and filling from one object to another - speed up color selection with the mouse: left for filling, right for outline color - bring a slider next to text frames for line space - convert artic text to frame and frame text to artic text (I miss this and much, much more because I've switched from Corel)

Hi Lagarto, thanks for your explanation (BTW: Where is the color lock mode?), this is exactly what I thought. From my point of knowledge this is very, very, very unprofessional. I need a software where I always know what happens in the background. In Corel it is possible. I also have there for every color the option for overprinting this color, where is this in Affinity?

Sorry for the stupid question, but after 25 years with Corel Affinity is so much different ... In Corel I mix a color in e.g. cmyk and then I HAVE cmyk. In Affinity I get this dialog: When I export this in PDF what color is used?

Hi, I'm coming from Corel (where it is Ctrl + D), not from Adobe, so I didn't knew the shortcut for dublicate. In the submenu I've not seen it so many weeks. So I had to use the submenu. Now I found the Ctrl+J (which is, like many things from Adobe, not logic). Please write it also into the submenu.

In some cases I don't want to see the page edge. Where can I disable this? To place a white rectangle doesn't work 😞 Thanks a lot, Uli

How can I draw an arc, where I can easy change the start and end point? I only found cakes and donuts and so on. Up to now I draw a cake, change I into a curve and delete the lines. But to change the curve then impossible. Is there an easy and elegant way? How can I select a dot in a curve after opening a curve (then one point is exact over the other)? In CorelDraw I can jump through all points by pressing the tab key.

Ok, got it. It was in Percentage But in my case the sliders remain in 8-bit values.

And suddenly my CMYK red color is converted into HSL... And what is this: The values next to the cmyk sliders are different to the other values ... ARRRRHHHHHH I HAVE TO DO MY JOB!!!!

Just started with a simple white in cmyk and after changing it from RGB to cmyk (see picture) it is still RGB in the palette 😞 The simplest things are very, very complicated. I begin to hate Affinity software ..
