  1. Since I bought Designer I also have the free Grade UI kit.  I imported the kit into Designer while it was open (not sure if this has to do with anything).  Then I tried to import the kit into Publisher and then received an unhandled exception crash:

After re-opening Publisher the Grade UI assets are there.  It is all working for me, just reporting the crash.

  2. I get a curious loss of the line weight when trying to copy groups of lines from specific PDF's.  I've attached an example PDF so you can reproduce the same result.  If I drag this file onto Publisher, the document preview looks fine.  If I then drag around the vector image and copy it, then paste it into my Publisher document, all the line weights are lost and they become very thin.  The same thing happens if I drag it into Designer, copy it in there, then paste it back into Publisher.

What I see after I drag the PDF into Publisher as a new document (drag onto title bar):

What I see after I paste the copied group from above onto a Publisher page:

    Workaround (more work):

    1. drag the PDF into Designer title bar
    2. export the file as SVG
    3. open the SVG and copy/paste from it into the Publisher document and all the line weights are preserved

  3. New user here, when I go to join two curves, the end points are in different positions so I end up with a line joining those two points.  Is there a way of setting a new point as an endpoint so that the join will be in the right location?  I tried separating the unwanted segment, but for some reason it just kept disconnecting the curve I was trying to add, leaving the unwanted segment still joined.  Hope that makes sense.
