  1. I got setup failed error when I tried to upgrade. The last upgrade worked fine without any problem, but the latest upgrade (1.7.2) didn't. Attached are the log files. Please help me check if there's anything I could do to resolve this, thanks. SetupUI.log Setup.log
  2. I wish Affinity Photo could remember the crop ratio we used last time when we open a file or we could set a default crop ratio. This would expedite the work flow when crop lots of files for printing. Thanks.
  3. I found that sometimes I could edit Macro, but sometimes the "Edit" was greyed out. Does anyone know the reason and how I could fix the greyed out Macro problem? Thank you very much.
  4. Thanks, for your reply, Fixx. Hopefully AP would allow us to change the default setting when saving JPEG file in the next version.
  5. Does anyone know what's the default setting for saving (not exporting) JPEG? After editing JPEG files with layers flattened, we could "save" the file directly. However, I don't know the quality and other settings when saving JPEG. I know I could export JPEG file with the settings I want, but to speed up the workflow, it'd be great if I could know and adjust the settings of default JPEG saving. If anyone knows how to do it, please let me know. Thank you very much for your help. Best regards, Sleepy
  6. I have the same issue on the 1.5.0.45, the non-beta one. Just curious if you guys have solved the problem? Thank you very much.
  7. When exporting JPEG files, the default preset is always "JPEG(High quality)". Does anyone know how to change the default present for saving JPEG? It would be great if I could change the default one to the preset I created. Thank you very much. Regards, Sleepy
  8. Thanks for your reply, Thomas_A. However, no matter what RGB color space I set in preferences, the photo opened in Affinity Photo will look different (in terms of color) from other programs (Windows Photo, Xnview, PhotoShop, etc) until I Assign ICC Profile (monitor calibration profile) to that photo. Is there any way to make photos opened in Affinity Photo look the same (in terms of color) as other programs whenever I open them? Thank you very much :)
  9. Dear Affinity team, I am really glad to see Affinity Photo on Windows released and purchased it once I knew it. Thanks for your hard and great work. However, I have some questions about the color profile. When I opened a jpeg file without a profile, it was opened with sRGB IEC61699-2.1, instead of the one from my monitor calibration. I did set up the profile I want in "Edit"->"Preferences"->"Colour" (screen shot attached), but that doesn't solve this problem. I could "Assign ICC Profile" whenever I open a file, but I wish I could have that (open with specific profile assigned) set as default. Please tell me how I could solve the problem. Thank you very much :). Best regards, Sleepy
