When exporting to PDF, all text inside tables appear as funny characters. Also, when I enter to Publisher and try to convert only that text to curves, Publisher closes. I think is some kind of bug. Below I attach the PDF export image besides the Publisher edit image. Great software by the way, this last 1.10 version really improves the performance!

Im starting to switch my agency design software to yours. Thing is, I would like to have a UX tool since all the actual work needs to be presented to my client. I do not thing you need a really fancy stuff, actually Designer could perfectly do the trick with a way to presenting the work online (could be a cloud service charge also).
Thank you very much :)

@Bloque9, I just wanted to say that I do actually have a great deal of sympathy for your position and the only other option that comes to mind is, for example, using the Affinity softwares on Windows 7 inside VirtualBox on a Linux computer. That solution does though have system resource implications.
Thanks for the advice (and the sympathy)!
It is not that bad actually. Anyway, I think Affinity Designer and Photo are great software.

Nobody from Serif has suggested this as a solution, you are discussing this with other interested parties. Please do not spend money on our (non-transferable) licenses currently available.
got it.

The issue is that 20,000 people have not told Serif they would buy Linux versions, nor is it clear when Serif could offer them anything for their money or how well that would compare to the existing products.
So imagine what it would be like if in 2-3 years Serif finally released their first Linux version & it performed poorly & lacked major features the Mac & Windows versions include. My guess is lots of the people that had paid up front for the app would be screaming to get their money back, not just in the customer support forum or directly from Serif, but also all over social media.
Can you see why that might not be a risk Serif would be willing to take?
I do. And still, thank you for consider it. Maybe in a few years from now.

I want to pre-order a round trip ticket to Proxima Centauri b (Window, please). Wait... I believe I have some cash remaining from the last weekend...
Really? Do you find that hard to believe that 20,000 people in all the world would pay for a license on linux? Specially since the web development goes straight to that direction? I do not see the need to undermine an effort with your lame humour just because you think it is as hard as going to another galaxy.

It is extremely unlikely Serif would be willing to take pre-orders for products they have not yet committed to developing. For their existing Affinity products they have from the beginning required purchasing separate licenses for each supported platform, so it is also extremely unlikely they would allow exchanging a Windows (or Mac) license for a Linux one, particularly years later, if & when the Linux versions are available for purchase.
Ill wait then, Im sure were not the only one willing to pay licenses (Linux ones) in advance.

Well, only thing I need is a link to send people interested in Affinity Software for Linux and actually pre-order their licenses. You can start with Designer and Photo. If its ok for you. Meantime, I keep my word to buy 9 licenses from you, (you can give me the licenses first in Windows and change to Linux when it is done). Just give me the link to pre-order my Linux software.

Please, stop assuming Linux is a small market and give us a try. What does it takes for you to consider creating a Linux version? Or at least a Steam OS one? How many users or licenses? Better yet, create a Kickstart project for that and let us buy the licenses to fund your Linux version.

Is there a way to change language options? Spanish, French or other?

Dear Affinity Developers. Instead of asking for you to make Affinity for Linux, I'd rather ask what do you need to consider to develop for Linux? The thing is, we, web developers use Linux a lot more than other people. Which is a market niche that is growing. In fact, in my agency 50% of the people use Linux. So why dont you Kickstart your project and clear all doubts? We users can pay for the development and you get to grow to new markets.
Let us decide.

I think problem with Linux version is that most designers/photographers do not want to give up OSX.
Right now, 20% of all webdesigners use Linix (pretty high) And being a Web designer/developer myself I can tell you that I would gladly pay twice the price of AFRICA software if it's on Linux and avoid me the regular pain of switching OS.So there is a market, and I'm sure I'm not the only one since I have coleagues that think exactly the same as me

Seriously we Need a Affinity like softwares for Linux.
So Developers want 500000. I believe, If every Linux User Donates $1, the donation will exceede your target. You just need to set a page for collecting donations and put the word out. Every Linux (Graphics)user will support Affinity.
Please give it just 1 try at-least and put the word out. All our Linux community will support. We love and support Good, Quality softwares.
Ubuntu/Mint/SUSE/Fedora are few good flavours for Linux platform.
Hope to see a donation page soon.
I'm a Web developer and director of a small Web design agency, I believe I'm not alone when it comes to use a good photo and vector software in Linux. Right now everyone has to swicth on and off from one OS to another because some things we need a design software. Its painfully, and tedious. You guys can crowfund the project and let us know! Believe me, everyday it passes, there's more people that need Linux compatibility. The thing is there are users like me that use Linux because is better for Web development, not because is free. Kickstart the project and you will get a nice surprise, I'm confident that you'll get more that 500k because there is actual need of it. You have my word I make sure all my team use Affinity and we would be very thankful for that. What you have to loose? Crowfund now!
