Update for affinity photo 1.5 is not visible for my MacBook

in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I have the same issue. can't update Affinity Photo 1.5 from previous 1.4.6 version. when you click on the app, it shown "OPEN" and the same previous app opens. however the Affinity Designer updated automatically from apple App store. Appears to be a Bug ! i am keen on using the new features on Affinity Photo, an amazing app giving run for their money to Adobe PS. Hope the developers resolve the issue soon. Regards. G. Kamat.
