Thanks Dan and v_kyr. The FFT Denoise is giving me good results, especially when combined with the Nik filter. Hoping to make more progress with the Macro workflow functionality.

I need some help with getting clear images from scans of printed photographs. I've scanned this picture from a book at 600dpi (the maximum my scanner can do). There are about 100 of these images. I want to clean them up and minimise the halftone dots. I've used the Nik Collection Shapener Pro 3 (Output) filter and this has improved the image, but the face still shows the halftone grid. Any thoughts on how I can take this a step further?

I'm using Affinity Photo and Designer v1.6 Windows. The recent enhancements of the fonts UI has been a great benefit, but I would like to know if it's possible to keep the Photo and Designer favourite fonts in sync with each other automatically.

+1 I'm not a graphic designer by any means, but in AI I would use optical kerning as a matter of course - it always makes my type look better. I'd put this as a very high priority.
