Thank you but the tool can get in the way. I have fooled around with it and I do see it as a good thing. I like Affinity for IPad and I would like to learn it. I did get it for my IPad but it's hard to use as everything is too small. It is perfect for IPad 10". I need to learn more about Affinity for Windows before I (if) can work on it enough to be comfortable working with it. It would be perfect for working with it on my lap. I need to better correlate better between my Window computer and Apple. All of my photo are on my Window computer.

Look on the tool bar. It says "Rope Stabilizer" Change that to no stabilizer and that thing will go away.
Whenne you have a chance, add it again and play with the settings. It is more useful for brushes but it will help guide you to making smoother strokes

I struggle with pixel selections myself. The selections target more colored values, so I would focus making selections around the subject and not the green screen. The Selection Brush Tool, Add and Subtract modes, are probably most beneficial for that. Use smaller brushes for smaller regions and larger brushes for larger regions. Then click the Refine Selection button to make it a little more precise. Once you have your selection, invert it, so the green screen gets selected instead, and just just delete it. Then it surprisingly helps to use just a little bit of a inner shadow on the subjects. That way, it doesn't just look like a cutout.

Double click in the middle of it and it will reduce the change of accidentally moving it.. You CAN click on the edge to get the move tool and that is what I suspect you are accidentally doing

Depending on the background (always hard without seeing a sample image) use a layer blend mode.Place a fill layer (or shape) over the tee shirt and change the layer blend mode to screen, or something like that.

 
Fill layer on top with Layer Blend Mode set to Screen.

There are several ways to do this.
 
If you scan your lineart. You can open the file in Photo (I downloaded a random image from the somewhere).
 
Go to Filters > Colors > Erase White Paper
 
You will notice the transparency
 
Add two more layers. One to fill with white and another one to start painting
 
If you think your line art is too greyish, just duplicate that layer and move the opacity.

Essentially they have the same functionality but different social media links! That's why they aren't on auto update from 1.6.1

No I didn't.
One would assume users settings are automatically being taken over !

As I mentionned above, the PDF file created by rubs is not displayed corectly with any program that can open pdf files. So far, everybody that opens and export his .afdesign file does not see any problem.  it opens correctly with all progs.  So the problem has to be on his side when it is exported, a font or language, or ascii code problem of some sort.

Well, the exported PDF opens with the same errors in Chrome and Internet Explorer, but we definitely need confirmation from other users. Perhaps my Windows not being in English (pt-BR in my case) has something to do with the problem?

I don't have that installed but if it is in Acrobat and not in Nitro the problem may not be in designer. We are not there yet - let someone with acrobat test it and see what happens

You were close  ;)
For commercial individual use you can install it in two computers.
On a home environment you can install it on up to five computers.

I would just select a rectangle with the marquee tool

Press Ctrl + C to Copy
Press Ctrl + V to Paste it in the new document.
 
Make sure the image you copy from is a Pixel layer, not an Image layer or it won't work. If it is an Image layer, rasterise it first.

Nah. That's too easy!
 

You can use either the Crop Tool or the Rectangle Tool. If using the Crop Tool, rasterize the layer after cropping so that the unwanted portion is properly discarded (because the tool is non-destructive). If using the Rectangle Tool, select both the rectangle layer and the photo layer and then click on the 'Intersect' icon in the Geometry section of the main toolbar.

Just in case this was missed, the opening multiple SVG documents results in extreme CPU use by AD.
 

I don't believe there is any issue here. Your original document you uploaded doesn't show the red dot like the screenshot does. The only thing that I can think has happened here is that you've accidentally adjusted the value of the Opacity slider either on the Brush Context Toolbar or on the Colour Panel.

Lock the beta forum if there isn't a current beta?
 
Relying on people to follow any sort of rule sounds awfully risky to me

I'm happy to log this as an improvement for you. One would assume that if you've closed the dialog, you're done with that area so yes, I would also prefer my last tool to be reinstated.
