Hi Patrick Connor, thanks very much.
yes, good question! my plan is to print it out onto a large piece of paper at one of those high-quality printer shops, and then put the finished document on the wall as decoration. ideally, i expect the whole thing to be approx. 2 by 1 metres. is it possible to print directly from affinity onto a printer or would i have to convert the document into another template that is printable? also im wondering if this 2x1 metre size is possible.
it's interesting what you say about resolution issues in fact. i was actually wondering if the finished print out would have these. is a 2 by 1 metre document even possible to do on affinity? if it is not, i thought it might have implications for image resolution. what is the largest in-real-life document that affinity can print out 1:1 so i wouldnt have to scale up the images? assuming 2x1 metres is too big, perhaps i should divide the village into sections and 'jigsaw' it all together at the end?
((i hadnt considered maintaining the finished document digitally but that might not be a bad idea (for some as yet unknown reason!). if i did this however, you are saying that 'export resolution problems' could occur. do you mean that, and please excuse my convoluted way of putting it, do you mean that there is a cost, so to speak, in translation between affinity software and elsewhere on the cloud? i.e. what looks perfect in affinity software might not look so perfect within the software of other online storage places?))
cheers!
