Interesting - what are your benchmark results?

Just to inform you that my setup of Win10 2004 build 19041.508 on internal Intel HD 630 (I5-7500 CPU) and OpenCL is a complete disaster.
Unusable at all - GPU enabled slows a lot even RAW opening (from 1s to even 10s), simple mouse wheel zooming jumps, jerks, hickups, block and even hangs APVideo drivers are latest from Intel (have a Intel utility to watch updates)
No panic here as this is a first test of HW acceleration of Win AP version, keep the good work!

Hey krbo,
Are you viewing it at 100% when using the non-destructive filter?
If you use the Live Filter High Pass it redraws at the zoom level so it probably won't matter what your zoom % is at.
there is something connected with zoom level but only with destructive filter - as zoom level is changed forth and back (with 0 value) sometimes pixels are visible sometimes not
live non-desctructive - always a uniform grey, no pixels with 0 value
-
hi,
noticed this after latest beta but it's also present in a release version:
if we use non-destructive High Pass filter with value of 0 there is a nice, even, clean, grey screen without any pixel visible
but if we use destructive High Pass with 0 level there are pixels visible like it don't start from a real zero.
not a big deal, maybe even feature - I don't know.

I think this is a case of misunderstanding how raw file should look.
Camera does not show raw file but developed jpg also as Faststone does not show raw file but embeded jpg from it.
Only question is what's with tone curve and exposure bias setting in develop assistant.

I suspect .NET problem as it's error is also in my event log together with one I posted above
first fires .NET error then kernel
oh, and I must point out this is my first ever install problem with AP since the first public 1.5 beta on Win OS - it's a remarkably excellent job during these years!!!
-
first more info for Win7 x64:
- I've made two downloads - same behaviour (stopped)
- updated .NET framework from 4.7.2 to 4.8 - not helped - install stopped
now I tried it on second location with Win 10 x64 v1909 and fresh download - no problem at all - successfully updated!
tomorrow I'l bring this download to the first location

Apologies. The beta is still running so I've bumped the original bug report in the hope we may see a fix for it.
thanks a lot for your efforts - deeply appreciated!

I experience same problem. Any luck with solving och adressering this issue so far?
no progress at all (latest beta tested) and I just had to search for another stacking software as AP failed again in a case of 400 images
pity

Certainly,
50 images are waiting for you!

hi,
I've stumbled to a bug using Focus Merge option, will report it here in beta but it is also present in latest retail version.
Made a series of pictures - it was a handheld sequence so there are some shaking and moving between them.
If I load all of them (50 for the test) AP makes merging but drops out first 16 and starts result from #17. (pic1, pic2)If I try merge on first 16 only all is OK, first 20 is also OK, but first 30 - bang - this time it drops last 14 pictures and stops at #16. (pic3)
There is obviously bigger difference between picture 16 and 17 so AP gets confused but in any way no auto-dropping should be done - I should/would like to be a judge what to leave out in next merge attempt.
No other stacking software I tried behaves like this so I would like very much to have this fixed, it's not easy to check in a bigger stack are all my pictures in, or AP had his thoughts what's OK

no need to register as Walt said
and about "what to do" - it's not a clickety-click-mouse app, in brief:
- you open HTML with it
- you add CSS stylesheet
- you add pictures if any (cover at least)
and then you start to make an epub by adding CSS classes to paragraphs, divide chapters, insert graphics...
-
I was under impression it was solved (don't know why really) and somehow reappeared again.
That's why repeated report

clarity and particularly clarity+high pass in a live filter chain are export killers
reported that before - a little speedup was done but it's still slow
-
hi,
already reported beta bug in reversing macro chain of old 1.6.5 macros reappears again in retail
same as difficulties in managing filters order with mouse - impossible to move filter to first position in a chain with it
("Arrange" menu icons works OK)

I think this is latest Silkypix for Panasonic:
https://www.isl.co.jp/SILKYPIX/english/p/
-
Silkypix is different story - it is official Panasonic camera software and they make new version every time with a new camera model (you can see a lot of versions at Panasonic download site). Usually specific for some models (you can't even download it if you don't enter valid serial number of the camera)
Why they do that? Because they put correction data into a Silkypix itself and give you a highly Panasonic customized free version of software to be used with specific camera model.
All other software vendors may or may not have (money!!!) that data.

yes, at least it's interesting.
There are some things I can try, will report if any success
And I see some beta HD 630 driver.
It would be nice to see some other HD630 report.
meanwhile I've just tested pathetic old Radeon 5670 at work, it's GPU is just 3.5x faster then CPU but real picture export with several filters were really 3x faster with HW acc
