Music software/hardware compatibility issues with Catalina. I'll have to circle back on those issues but system's running smooth so hate to take the chance unless I see evidence that it will resolve the Affinity issues. Are you not having this permission problem with the latest OS and Affinity? Thanks for responding. It works flawlessly on my old macbook with 10.8.5

Hello there, I've had nothing but good results with Affinity Photo/ Designer but am having the same issues as everyone else here since getting a newer macbook (currently running 10.15.3). Just picked up some work and am using Affinity Photo. I was able to save about 8 new documents and got the "Save failed because you do not have permission to create a file in that location" message. So I'm unable to complete the job unless I figure this out. Just wondering if there's any new updates on this issue. I also get this message when trying to export: An error occurred while exporting to: /Users/noise/SITES/leapin/2021/01.jpg
