I am using Affinity Photo with the AP Workbook.

Hi, yesterday I was following the tutorial in the AP book for the Search The Woods project. So far it is going great. Where I have difficulty is when I create the pixel layer for the Pen tool (flashlight). Everything works with the Pen tool and then I convert to a selection and I can see the ants, I select the white color and try to fill the selection with the fill (bucket) tool but the color is not white. Is there something wrong that I am doing? Should I do something else instead of using the bucket tool? Thank you, Jacques

Hi, I am reading the AP book and it is very interesting. On page 49, they talk about the 32-bit Preview Panel. To be able to use it you have to convert the document format to RGB (32 Bit HDR) and I was wondering why would someone convert the document? Is it something that people do every time or is there some situations that it is a good idea to do it? Thanks

Hi, now I have the version affinity-photo-16.0.89 and I just started AP and it is telling me that there is a new version which is affinity-photo-1.6.1.93. Is it really a new version because I did not see that on the forum?

Hi, I was watching the video and try to convert a document to ProPhoto to see the changes, but ProPhoto is not in the list. I have try with a raw file and a afphoto. Is it normal? I am using Windows 10.

Hi everybody, even though I am using Windows I was watching the video for Installing & Using Nik Dfine. My question is: Why would someone use Dfine? Is it because we cannot achieve the same thing in AP? Thanks

Hi Sean, yes I had multiple raw files ( Nef and Dng) open and maybe you're right I might I have done something with the raw file that crash AP. I also tried it with an afphoto and 2 raw files and it was ok so I must have done something that AP did not like. If it happens again I will try to remember the steps I was doing.
