  1. I have a problem on affinity designer on desktop (mac) where when exporting a file, somewhat random lines appear at the borders of some objects, like rectangles, some images etc... and it's especially a problem where i import drawings from other apps (in pdf) that have a white background, so they shouldn't have ANY type of border, and it still shows inconsistent lines around. This happens when exporting in pdf (flatten). I need the documents to be rasterised so that's the option I want to use. The files I use are created and worked on completely on affinity designer (not imported from illustrator for instance). The file I have attached a screenshot of has NO vertical/horizontal lines around the drawings, but as you can see they are there... and this is viewed on a retina display, when another pc views this file, the lines are twice as visible. The only way I have found to resolve this problem is to export every single page separately in .jpg (since I need it to be rasterised anyway) and then making a new document with the images to create a pdf out of them. But this is only "sustainable" for documents that have few pages of course. I hope there's something I can change in the settings to get rid of the problem! p.s. My version of designer is up to date (1.8.6) but this has been going on for some previous versions too.
  2. Yes please, I need a "search in layers" feature so bad... or at least the possibility to sort them by name. As an architecture student, 90% of the files that I work on come from AutoCad, which exports A LOT of layers in every document. Having the option to scan through them and select the layers I need, even when they're inside different groups, would be life changing.
  3. Ohh I see, that must be it! Thank you for replying and sorry for thinking it was a bug. I was actually wondering what that button was for and now I know.
  4. Hello, I am experiencing a bug on MacOs 11.0.1 with Affinity designer 1.8.6., working with a document containing multiple artboards. Suddenly, when using the move tool to try and move objects inside an artboard, it doesn't select anything if I click on things. Even using a drag motion to select with the blue selection box (not sure what it's called) doesn't work. It almost acts like if all my objects and artboards had the "lock" option activated, but it's not! The only thing I can do to select objects so I can modify or move them (that goes for shapes, text, embedded documents, images... anything) is to find the artboard in the layers panel, expand it and find the exact object I need, then by clicking on it things seem to "unlock" and objects of that artboard work as normally. The problem is that as soon as I want to select something from another artboard, the same problem occurs. I have also noticed that if I create a shape, import a pdf or create something in an artboard, it goes under another artboard in the layers panel and therefore it's not visible until I find it and move it where it belongs. Working becomes tedious like this! I hope there's a way to fix this, I have tried quitting Affinity Designer and reopening it, then I have restarted my Mac and still the problem persists I hope the explanation was clear enough! UPDATE: I have managed to work around this issue by selecting all artboards, copying them and pasting them in a new file. However, I hope this bug can be fixed so i don't have to move files whenever this happens!
