Thanks, Mark. I tried this, and it worked. Unfortunately, I'd also lost my shortcut functionality to another piece of photo software along the way. But that's also now been reinstated! Thanks for your help.

I opened Affinity Photo and a pop-up message told me I need to instal an update. I clicked the link, went to the download page, and downloaded update to version 1.8. Install began and then I was asked to close Affinity, which I did. After a short while of 'installing' the pop-up box told me install had failed. No reason, no error message. Now I can't get into my original version of Affinity Photo. I use Windows 10, latest version on a desktop PC. I get a message 'The item referred to by this shortcut cannot be accessed. You may not have the appropriate permissions.' I used the previous version without problems. Any sugestions, please?

I've been using Lightroom for a few years, but it's limited so I've bought Affinity. However, I want to eventually delete Lightroom and use Affinity for all my work. Problem is finding files from Lightroom and associating these with Affinity. At present, the process is a little convoluted. I have a large number of photos (10k+) organised into a good number of folders and sub-folders. I'd like a way to transfer these folders from Lightroom to some other picture storage software that will allow that process. Anyone any ideas, please? Thank you.
