  1. Would be interesting to see what kind of results you would get with microscopic view of an ant, and stacking together. Because right now there is some stunning results happening with your bees. So many details coming together, which turns into something wondrous at the same time. Beautiful work @unni
  2. @Michelangelo_ I don't believe in such statement, because I am sharing my work here, that I am suppose to share my files. It's the creators decision if they share their original files. You might as well, tell to all creators in "Share your work" section, that they all, are suppose to share their original files, and I can assure you, they will respond the same way. No one, literally no one is obligated to share their Affinity File if you posting on this forum, Illustrator File if you posting on Illustrator forums etc. Please take this discussion to either a new thread or https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/67951-discussion-what-is-share-your-work-section-to-you/ Thank you Brian Hermelijn
  3. While the idea of that sounds great, for those that wants to learn from what I create, I don't want to share the original files. Why? It doesn't help someone when they are learning. When someone is learning they have to dissect things on their own and ask how is that done? Like everything that I am making here is all about shapes, abstract and another thing which can't be described with words is "feeling" or "self expressions", there is only so much someone can learn from a file. That's the reason why I don't share PSD's nor plan to "sell" psd's as some other creators does. I do share files to peoples that ask, from time to time. Depending how I feel about it. Hope that answer your question. @Michelangelo_
  4. So as I wrote in the previous post, I want to start changing the vibe of this thread. Instead of posting only final work, I want to start introducing more WIP and documenting the progression, so peoples can also ask questions along the way. - So here is two WIP's of what I am working on. 1. Poster idea after I saw this Behance project https://www.behance.net/gallery/63067901/NIKE-EPIC-REACT - ---- 2. Logo icon for the thirty logos project I am doing. Unfortunately the site itself has shot down, but you can find the brief on twitter https://twitter.com/thirtylogos
  5. Alright as you can see I haven't been posting because, what I am currently making isn't done within Affinity, its mainly done in Illustrator + Paintstorm studio. But I will be coming back shortly to posting here, since I want to change the kind of posters I am making. After trying out these real life portrait, I want to try more vector based portrait posters or something else that requires just few more thought process than just creating under like an hour or two, so yeah. That is what I am thinking about.
  6. Will send you the file through PM. But one thing I can say is, these dissection won't help as much than learning some of the basic fundamentals: 1. Light 2. Shapes 3. Form If you learn these three, it will be easier to arrange things to a pleasing composition. But of course its hard to say which dot connected to what, so that's where the experiment part come into play. @Phil_rose @firstdefence got it I assume he knows the fundamentals though, which allows you to much easier pull these kind of stuff apart. @Phil_rose
  7. Didn't get back to this. Are you working in Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo? If you are working in designer, its odd that it became so pixelated. One thing you have to keep in mind, or if you haven't research about yet is aerial perspective. By learning aerial perspective, it gives you a new tool to play with it, for creating believable scenes. Right now your scene lacks depth. Demo of what I mean : You can learn more about the concept I mentioned from this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUhVNtM2Gow
