Hi, Can anyone help. I've been trying to follow a YouTube tutorial video in which you need to make a selection and duplicate it to a new layer and then apply Blur-> Average.to get an average colour of the selected area. When I do this I get a transparent swatch, whereas on the tutorial the swatch is opaque. Attached is a screen shot in which is shown the original selection as well as the selection that has the blur applied. Thanks

The LUT export is still not working correctly. The red and green colour channels appear to be swapped. Will it be corrected in this beta?

I have a Huion tablet which works perfectly with Affinity Photo1.5, but I cannot get it to work properly in the beta version. Anything I should be doing to get it to work?

I too have had problems with Nik Viveza showing the correct colours I've tried various things including the fixes suggested none of which work for me. The only method I've found that does work is to reduce the document size to 3000 x 2000 pixels. (My files start out at 6000 x 4000). Also it seems to depend upon the viewing magnification 33% seems to be the "critical" magnification.

I'd also be interested if there is an equivalent or work around to PSE "Paste in selection" as I use this method to create a collage of images.

I spent some time trawling the internet to try to find a solution to this and I have found something that enables me to view RAW Nikon NEF files both in Windows Explorer and when opening in Affinity Photo. I downloaded and installed this codec from the NIkon website. Here is the link: http://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/products/170/NEF_Codec.html The website I found the reference is http://photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00dzO4 It also seems to work on some of the Panasonic RW2 files that I have.

Hi MEB, Thanks for your reply. I've already tried as you suggested but it just shows raw files as generic icons, with no indication of the image content (It's the same in Windows Explorer). jpgs which are duplicates of the raw (NEF) file show images fine. If I could figure out how to attach a screen dump to this messenger I would send it. I've searched the internet for a solution and only found recommendations for third party image viewers such as Irfan view. My OS is Windows 10.

Having just started using the windows beta version perhaps I'm missing something, but without at least a thumbnail view of a RAW file how can you know which file to edit.
