Joansz got a reaction from walt.farrell in How to fix "missing font" when exporting publisher to PDF?
"Are you following the instructions and starting from the Find and Replace panel, then using the Cog icon for the Find field? "
Thank you. Sorry for my late reply, but since there were just a few spots that I had to replace fonts, I just did it manually. But I've noted that for future, which will help going forward.

Joansz got a reaction from Brian_J in Is there a way to propagate a text frame over several pages in one command
Yes! Thank you. This:
"To autoflow text into multiple new text frames:
Click the Flow button at the bottom-right edge of the overflowing text frame with the Shift key pressed." Is exactly what I was looking for. I don't know how I missed it.

I think the AutoFlow feature is what you’re looking for.

Joansz got a reaction from walt.farrell in Publisher2 master created with an older release
I didn't want to play with what I had until I published, but was finally able to get to it today and all I had to do was uninstall Publisher 2.0.4 that existed in my start window. I was already running EXE on both so didn't have to uninstall both and reinstall the latest version. Thank you so much for setting me straight.

Joansz got a reaction from walt.farrell in Publisher 2, Windows: Where do I find info on what was fixed
Thank you Ron P. and walt.farrell for your fast reply. I just checked the list of fixed items for 2.1 and don't see my "show stopper" email hyperlink fix listed, so I'm going to hold off upgrading until it is.

Joansz got a reaction from Hangman in Publisher 2, Windows: Found two problems with hyperlinks
"Version 2.1.0 isn't backwards compatible just in case that was the thought process but copy and paste would be an option or exporting to pdf and then opening in v2.0.4 depending on your plan... "
Thanks for the heads-up, I was planning on opening the affinity file. However, I can easily re-buiid it since 99% of the input is word, text, or image.

Joansz got a reaction from loukash in Publisher2: what do I set to convert color to gray scale when I export to print?
A bit of background to explain my goals: I'm a volunteer editor for the American Branch of the Richard III Society. Twice yearly, we publish a magazine in the form of a 6 by 9 inch printed booklet and digital PDF. My objective is to have one file for both editions plus a separate file for the cover, which is full CMYK color.
Thank you, laurent32 and loukash. I was able to get the desired results by setting up the document as RGB and the output as CMYK. See attached screen captures.

Still no footnotes and end notes. They are a must have. Product useless without this, IMO.

Joansz got a reaction from Arba in Text Auto Flow -- great feature Affinity!
I do not find that acceptable. This is time consuming, especially if you have multiple articles that are more than one text frame long. Additionally, if this product can't be as easy to use and robust as PagePlus, then why bother "down grading?"
