  1. Very interesting these library presets .... I didn't know PDFlib..I'm going to use it to test the files before exporting them. Thx @thomaso
  2. It is true, so in this case only time will bring the maturity of the software.
  3. Got it. As you already mentioned, it really does seem to make sense. And do you know if there is any possibility for the serif team to pay attention to this algorithm improvement?
  4. Wow !!!! Thank you very much for the information and explanations @thomaso and @Jowday The problem really disappears when I export the pdf with the included typography. My problem is solved. Thx thx.! But now I was intrigued by the issue of curved exports ... As we discussed earlier, it seems then that there is a 'primary problem' related to the rendering of curves, I say this due to the fact that, the same behavior does not happen in web pdf viewers when we export the entire file in curves through Indesign. Why does this happen when exporting in Publisher? The printing company (Knowledge font family) owns the company Thomson Reuters which I create graphic and advertising pieces for them here in Brazil.
  5. I start to think that there may be a problem with vectors when exporting the pdf, all the elements of this example that I sent are in curves, so many fonts with the shape. In other words, we are dealing with vectors.
  6. @Jowday Yes of course, I did a test with the font I need to use, a random font and a vector shape similar to the capital letter I. Both examples have the same typographic weight and color. Thx https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A3Ig9sNsXyfoWd3H4zOXBoruxWpe4dT1/view?usp=sharing
  7. @thomaso That thomaso, close would export, sorry lol. So, do you know what I just found out? The same problem does not seem to be limited only to typography as you commented (and I also agree), however, if I create a shape with a similar size of a capital letter I, it will also happen, so, I think we can start thinking about possibility to discard something related to the typographic family, right? thx
  8. Hello thomaso, thank you very much for your feedback.🙂 I understood and also realized that it appears to be just a false distortion of anti-aliasing when opened in the web viewer. I did some tests and I saw that as the zoom, the distortion softens as you commented. But what really puzzles me is, that this false distortion of anti-aliasing does not happen when I close the file in Adobe Indesign. Is there a possibility that Publisher could be a bug generated when closing the file?
  9. Hello everyone, how's it going? Well, first of all I would like to thank everyone on the team and also the company that make affinity a beautiful job so that we professionals can enjoy high performance and productivity in our day-to-day lives. I have been a passionate user of the software since its launch in 2015 and since then I have never again used Adobe software effectively, only occasionally. I apologize for my English, I am Brazilian. I wonder if anyone here faces the same problem as mine or similar. This 'bug' so far occurs in all applications in the suite (both in stable and beta versions) and apparently seems to be related to some issue in the output of the closing of the file in PDF format and there is some connection also with the document viewer Google. I am currently a user of the Mac OS operating system version 10.13.6 on both my iMac and my Macbook, and the problem reported below occurs in both versions 1.8 and 1.9 of the affinity suite. I will leave attached a print and also a link to the document to be viewed on the google drive. The problem is: After closing a digital PDF file from Publisher, the PDF is being generated with a capitalization display problem, specifically with the letter 'I' when; it just gets bolder, I think you can see the error in the image, I've tried everything but I can't close the file without this problem. If anyone can help me, I will be forever grateful, I would not like to have to open Indesign to solve this problem lol. thank you very much. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K1VqLMAemzxkwDHzbADjgdwgIYvf_X7Y/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K-mXI5qJcyDQc8pIVSQajaaLf3q71GlE/view?usp=sharing
