In AD, you can save an entire Artboard as an asset. If you create a new AD document of any size without the "Create artboard" option checked, & then drag & drop an artboard asset onto the canvas as the next step, it will automatically replace the canvas with the artboard, retaining its dimensions (& any guides it includes, too).

So for example, you could create a DVD template in an artboard, add it to Assets, & use it as above. You may have to change or set document units to whatever ones you prefer, but it is still a very quick way to get what you want.

    Hi

I would like - no! - LOVE to be able to use FILTER FORGE in both AD & AP for Windows. FF is a great program both Standalone and plugin for PS, PSP and others. Looks like I may be keeping PSPX9 bit not upgrading and moving over to AP when it is ready to buy a licence for.

I have messaged FF and they are happy to add Affinity if there is enough demand for it. Apart form the  ability to download and use literally thousands of free filters, there are program versions that allow you to create your own filters to keep fr yourself or share within the FF library.

I love using these filters on font text as well as images.
    Thank you!

Here is one of my first attempts at a focus stack. So love that they put this feature in the 1.5 update! Hoping for more opportunities to capture these amazing structures!
Info: Pentax 50mm Macro with 3 Kenko Auto Extension tubes for a total of 72mm of extension. 4 images stacked (wish I had done at least 2 more) Camera was mounted upside down underneath my tripod (centre column flipped around). Focused by slowly raising and lowering the centre column. Lit with a 900 lumens LED flashlight from the side. Cropped only the tiniest bit on the right to bring the snowflake onto the left third, otherwise this was the magnification i was getting.
