I would like to second the shadows slider,,, pulling shadows out is very important especially if you have underexposed tie shot to protect highlights, A trick used very well with lightroom. BTW, would like to say you guys are great,,, best response team I have seen, even if you say put it on the request list, YOU RESPOND... thanks

lan, yes , a long time ago, but you have a good point, I tried just looking at a thumbnail outside of affinity, nothing, worked before, did a search, went back and cleared the thumbnail folder, l. jpgs work now ,,, another windows who knows why..... will check Affinity after the new beta is uploaded .. these folks are fast with updates, I'm impressed.. .. len, thanks for the reply, but I can not see jpg, tiff, fthumbnails either not just RAW files and my RAW files are Adobe DNG, not camera specific.

same issue, I have checked for ddl files, they seem to be there, interesting that your screen shot next to file name shows Affinity files (*xxx,*xxx,*xxx,) file format i only see, Affinity files, nothing else...

OK, I m new to Affinity, so I am still learning the system... So far there are a lot of things I like, to many to list. So I'l will just list my complaints so far: Slow loading files, would like it to be much faster, I can live with it, but.... in the development module, under development assistant-tone curve, would like to be able to toggle off permanently, without having to do it every time i start the program. So far it seems lightroom is much better at pulling shadow detail out in underexposed shots, I shoot that way a lot to make sure highlights are no blown, maybe I am missing a technique? Still working though the tutorials and experimenting. FYI: intel i5, 8g ram, 750g hd, 740rpm, Intel HD graphics- 27in, IPS, srgb monitor
