Using AD v2.2 which still has the same nonsense behavior. It makes no UX sense to have an option grayed out until you press another button, in this case an alignment button.

Also, the Apply/Cancel is very counter-intuitive from a user experience to see it in a drop-down menu. This should either be a modal with Apply/Cancel or an alignment options panel without these action buttons.

At least give us the options to change this behavior, but I can't imagine why anyone would be happy with the current workflow.

Very poor UX decisions. I hope you don't continue on this path like Adobe, who forces outrageously complicated workflow workarounds, frustrating users for years.

Is the whole one closed path? - Also when there are a bunch of overlapping nodes, do you always draw exactly from one starting point node's center to an end point node's center?

Yes, it's a closed path. The node center doesn't seem to be the problem, rather the start/end node as Lee said.

    Hi Kaze,

    Thanks for reporting this,

I've been able to replicate the issue and it seems to be related to the length and whether or not the sculpt crosses the start/end node.

I've reported this as a bug to be looked into by the dev team.

Thanks Lee. Looking forward for the fix, as this bug has existed for quite a while now, I think it was in Version 1 as well.

  3. It would also help if there's a way to generate a list of all set shortcuts - like a PDF file or even a simple TXT file as the .afshort is unreadable. This way we can print it and have it always nearby to help memorize our custom shortcuts faster. The panel in Affinity is very difficult to use, it's small and has two sets of lists - for the personas and for the categories which makes it impossible to easily access all the shortcuts at once.
