Hi,
We are pleased to announce that the first customer beta of Affinity Publisher (1.7.2.420) is now available as a download from the link above. Build 420 has replaced Build 419 which has been withdrawn.
If this is your first time using a customer beta of an Affinity app please note that the beta will install as a separate app alongside your store version. They will not interfere with each other at all and you can continue to use the store version for critical work without worry.
The beta is an incremental update to the 1.7.1 store version. We recommend that you use this beta in preference to your store version if you are affected by any of the issues listed below.
If you have any problems using this version please make a new topic in this forum and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Please feel free to leave general suggestions and comments in the Discussion Forum.

working on the premise that you have a picture frame on your master page "without" a contour/border.
On your normal page, in the layers panel you can select the master page layer and right click, edit detached. This will add a orange bar to the top of window advising you that you are in edit detached mode. You should now be able to edit the picture frame for that page only, then click finished on the orange bar at the top of the window. The edit detached function allows you to edit master page elements for that single normal page.

Personas will work with the finale release version of Publisher. 19th of June.

Indeed. This is not a bug, but switched off in the beta.

First of all, I (and the team) would like to thank everyone for your fantastic response to the Affinity Publisher pre-order. If you feel that you should have received an offer email and you haven't I suggest you contact affinityorders@serif.com with as much information as possible.
We've released this update mainly to fix the issues reported in Build 371 with the Text Tool and Select All / Copy / Paste etc. We will issue a Release Candidate next week and take things from there. After launch we will start a new Customer Beta for those who wish to have early access to on-going updates and fixes.

As this is a beta it is considered to be not suitable for production use. This means that you should not attempt to use it for commercial purposes or for any other activity where you may be adversely affected by the application failing, including the total loss of any documents.

I am trying to upload a photo book pdf to White Wall. 
White Wall requires the format 302 x 216 mm for my book. I set up the (master) pages accordingly, but White Wall reports an error: Page width 216.1 mm instead of the required 216 mm.
I checked all master pages and pages and had them recalculated. Again the error message after the upload.
I reduced the page width to 215.9 mm. White Wall reports 215.9 instead of 216 mm as wrong page width.
I corrected the pages back to 216 mm width. White Wall reported 216.1 mm.
I've had similar export problems in Affinity Designer before. Am I making a mistake? Is it a bug?

As I said, with the mouse it works if you have enough fingers available ;--)
But this shortcut (short?) can't work with the tablet's pen, because you can't press the two buttons of a pen at the same time. It is also impractical to always have to switch to the mouse to change the size/hardness of brushes or stamps.
I urge you to look for better compatibility with tablets like Wacom when updating. I think it would be best to use Affinity as a model for PS CC (Alt+lower pen+draw).
Otherwise AP is not suitable for people who do serious retouching, because the operation takes too much time.
