It seems that this is similar to the bug that I just posted in Bugs forum for stable version: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/34331-pressure-in-stroke-panel-isnt-applied-to-a-solid-line-type/
However, in 1.5.5 beta 1 this bug behaves somewhat differently.
It doesn't revert to solid line at all unless you Reset Pressure. But if you try to modify Pressure again it changes the solid line to the brush last used (and changes its opacity). If the last used textured brush was an image (ex. assorted 196 rope, 128 chains), it displays only solid line and ignores Pressure graph.
I couldn't find a way to reset this, like I was able in the stable version's bug.
