  1. Hello Dave, Thank you for the answer. I understand the reason to modify IDs to obtain valid XML. Everything that allows me to go back to the value with the non allowed chars is ok. A checkbox somewhere in the settings when you export to SVG to allow untouched IDs would also be perfect for us. We'd really love to be able to continue to use Designer, as well as our customers.   2. Hello, We used Affinity Designer up tp 1.4.1 with great love. We use the item and group name with a convention to associate actions, so we needed to be able to find the exact group names in the svg export. That was the case up to 1.4.1. The next versions transform the ids, put - instead as spaces for instance. This process is destructive and we can't get our original names with special characters in the svg export. Is it possible de encode the names in a non destructive way, with hex encoding of non allowed chars for instance, or with an option to keep the names untouched ? That would allow us to use the current versions of designer. Thank you Alexandre
