Hello all - need some more help. Affinity Photo 2.2 - suddenly some rgb images wont convert to cmyk when I export as a PDF? In fact some won't convert if I try to change them via Document > Convert Format/ ICC Profile… I have to go back to the original file and start all over by changing via the ICC profile, then they will export when saving as a cmyk pdf for print. This never used to be the case. It’s become long-winded as all colour correction is lost. Have I clicked something in error? Please help - I have a newsletter which I am now painstakingly having to redo all the images:-(

Thought I had responded to this already - sorry. Thanks for responding MikeTO. The images are linked and the Resource Manager marks them as "OK". I have deleted some before as I thought I had done something wrong - did one again as you suggested and it replaced fine. Closed out, rebooted and still looked fine. Then I thought I'd try exporting to a PDF because previously the PDF reproduced okay. But the preflight came up and had the images are not pamtabale with the PDF export version... the Fix seems to have fixed them!

Since the upgrade to affinity publisher 2.2 the majority of my images (placed pdf files) not viewing properly.from reading the forum I’ve set the display to Open GL and unchecked the Hardware Acceleration Enable Metal. What has changed and how do I get it back? It also seems to be crashing a lot - or rather “Not Responding”. I'm on a Mac Mini, 32 GB, MacOS Ventura 13.5.2 Screenshot 2023-10-20 at 14.29.38 (2).pdf

I'm having problems too... the text shows but not the text box - started off okay but getting worse

Why does Affinity Photo not show the printers marks on a file created as a print ready PDF file in AffinityDesigner? The printer marks, crop marks etc., show if i open the file in Preview. But if I open the file in Affinity Photo the printer marks are not there. Why is that? Sometimes I prefer to send a pdf file from the photo app.

How did you change the setting for these placed PDFs from "pass-through" to "interpret" Please? I have also had these huge PDF file issues for a club Newsletter that also goes on the web after printing. I just found that if I opened the Publisher v2 file in Photo v2 it saves at a much better size.

I have this happening to me now - error when trying to esport to a pdf. I downgrade back to 1.8.6, because it started when I upgraded. Has 1.9 resolved this?

Same has happened to me - just upgraded to 1.9 and it crashes before I get a chance to export to PDF - very frustrating and I need t get this newsletter out on proof

I am having this issue now - I have tried different export methods, e.g., "PDF (press-ready)" or digital versions? help? update; just tried it as "PDF flatten" and it worked!

And how do you undo subtract in Affinity design?

So my text suddenly started show in cm??? Thanks to the above at lease I knew where to go but it was already set to show text in points... somehow unblocking and and click it back on reset to show in points which is what i want.
