Again I need help:
Using AP 1.6. as external Editor in Foto 3.0 OS X High Sierra:
It would be now pretty comfortable to use Affinity as an external Editor in Foto 3.0: simply right click on the image and in the menu you can chose all the different photo editing programs. My favorite ist AP 1.6. Would be, but how do I get the changes made with AP 1.6 as external Editor back to Foto 3.0?
When choosing "save" the changes won't be visible in Foto. When just closing AP 1.6. without saving, the changes are also not visible in Foto 3.0. Doing the same with "Nik-Filters" works fine.
Do you have any suggestions to solve my problem?Thanks!

Hello Does anyone know how to save a picture back to Foto 3.0 after having edited the file with Affinity 1.6? The changes won't be accepted in Foto 3.0 when I simply "save" the file in Affinity and go back to Foto 3.0. When I do the same workflow with the nik-filters, everthing works without problems. What do I do wrong? Thanks for help Kind regards Hans Pauli

Thanks for your quick answer. The box is/was ticked since my first trial to install them. Is there maybe any "pref file" to delete?

OS X 10.11, AP 1.6.6 and Version before: I tried to install the free Nik Collection from google and creating the path in the plugin window. AP lists the filters in the left part (mostly all with status "unknown"(yellow), global support is activated and the path is set correctly. After x restarts of AP and uninstalling/installing the filters, I only get the message "your trial has expired". I downloaded the free version of NC a day ago. Meanwhile the downloaded NC filters work fine on the alternative app Adobe Elements. I appreciate any suggestions to solve my problem. hausio
