Thanks again, it works.
But some of my shortcuts are changed, tried to load a .affshortcuts to fix it, but that didn't solve it. Any ideas?
At this time I've changed the most used ones, so don't stress.

It's coming your way.

The file size is 2,01Gb. There is 3 files with brushes, that takes up the space (1994Mb) Can I leave them out?
-
Thanks @Sean p It worked Do you want the new folder designer created, or the old one, or both?

After the 1.7 update, I can no longer open Designer. Photo runs fine.

Perhaps you could explain the procedure in more detail. Thanks in advance.

I'm waiting on my copy, hoping that it covers 1.5 features

Heyyaaaa I just press print in this beta version and crash! I did it 3 times and keeps crashing :(
It doesn't crash when printing on my machine.

Yeah, me and others before me have requested that quite a while ago already. Doesn’t hurt to remind the devs once in a while, though.
dang I searched the forum and found no results before posting.. But it sure is a lovely feature to have ;)

Hear me out.. Why not let AD do the work for you.. So instead of the user having to find layers and groups by scrolling, it should just jump right to the selected object/group in the Layer PaneI. I mean AD highlights selected, but it could just as well jump to it. I would LOVE to see this added

Hey Travis,
If you Option Click on the thumbnail for the layer you want to work on in the layers panel it will solo the layer...
I'm on a Mac so I hope the option key is the same.
Allan
Yes you can solo object, but you can't alter it. Once you start to add objects to it, or change the nodes, all other objects will appear. You can change the color of the solo object, add gradient and transparent tool though.
So I guess you can't really call it a useful solo option.. At least not in my opinion.

I'm just guessing, but maybe using the rectangular to polar filter.
Yup ;)

It's about 700 Euros/Year.
A waste of money I could invest in other more important things...

The ability to add N number of new points, evenly spaced, between the selected points.
I know this can be done manually by clicking the line. That functionality is great and works very well but doesn't help, if you want precise placement of multiple points.
Ideally I'd be able to:
1) make a circle
2) convert to curves (now I have a curve with 4 nodes)
3) select those 4 nodes and add "N" nodes between selected nodes
4) (so if I chose to add 1 node between selected nodes) I now have the same circle shape but with 8 evenly placed nodes
yes this and sliding nodes on the curve, which means the curve shape remains, but the point moves on it.
I too would love the ability to extrude edges, so the workflow would remind of 3d modeling in top ortho view.
BTW: you can get a circle with 8 nodes by using the Cloud Tool then set the number of bubbles to 4 and move the red node outwards so that it shapes like an circle. Then convert to curves.

There's no default shortcuts for Default colours as far as i know. You have to set it up manually trough Custom Shortcuts.
Since program's functions/menus are different from one app to the other i don't think it's a good idea to mix their shortcuts's files.
If you place your cursor over the yellow triangle for a few moments a tooltip should appear telling you where it's also being used.
now, it would be nice if you could click that triangle, and Affinity would show all conflicting parts. This way you could easily change them.
-
would be nice if you could set a custom shortcut for this too.
-
I have to ask if you have an open document? If not just press ⌘N
-
Serial?.. There's no such thing, when buying on the AppStore. And if you want Affinity products, then AppStore it is ;)
Now you can install on 5 machines for personal use, using the same AppleID.
-
I would add some AO to these, to make them more convincing.
-
+1 this could be combined with a HUD, so people can toggle it on and off in the preferences.
-
The command I use is under Document > Flip Horizontal
Geeez, I'm both blind and stupid, can we try again?.. I can't find such thing under the custom shortcuts.
Help me Obi Van Limoncelli - You're my only hope :D
BTW I'm talking AD, but I think that AP should have this option too.
-
not really sure what you mean?.. The options under the toolbar changes depending which tool you have active. Can you link to video, so I better can understand.
Cheers
