  1. on my machine it only flips selected layers. Can you pinpoint the right one in the preferences please, I can't find any option that allows to flip canvas, maybe I'm blind
  2. Thanks MEB :) Also it could be cool if you were able to filter out all of the custom shortcuts you have set, there's an option to reset, so I guess AD AP knows which ones you have added, should be fairly simple to add, but a big help to keep track of what the user add's over time, just in case one forgets :D
  3. will do asap, thanks. I have been looking for default colors in the custom shortcuts, didn't see it, but will look again. BTW, does the shortcuts work in both AD and AP? What I mean is, once I've saved shortcuts in AD, can I import into AP without risk? Also I wish you could search for anything including functions and shortcuts, shapes ect. inside the preference panel.
  4. Hello there, and merry christmas to you - Now here's some feature requests, which I believe that none of us can live without. Now some of them have been postet before, but I remember Matt saying something along the lines "Oh my mistake, I thought we already added this" See my begging sheet Now the "plus some more" part was just to get your attention, or scare you away.
  5. OpenEXR - I hope this means that you'll support import of OpenEXR as well :)
  6. Nope, but with a few more clicks you got a brush. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNZbmvjtdmU
  7. @MBd you know what I mean @A_B_C I'm also glad that they doesn't overlap as default, but having an option to show on multiple artboards would be great.
  8. Yep that's exactly what I mean, my artboard is showing the object, but only on one of them, not both. have a look at my dartboard :D artboard.mov
  9. Trying to figure how these dartboards work, I run into a couple of frustrating pitfalls. 1. Hitting ⌘A will select the all the artboards and not the objects inside the artboard. 2. Drag select doesn't select the objects. 3. Running the arrange functions, will result in some weird results. As it is now, it doesn't use the artboard the objects appears on, it will arrange the objects based on all your artboards. Some times it result in invisible objects. So it seems that you can arrange/align your artboards, but not your artwork properly. Maybe I'm missing someting here.. Anyone?.. 4. The clipping of objects that extends the artboards, is there a way to make your object appear on both artboards, as they covers both edges, without having to copy and paste into new artboard, then realign?
  10. Not objects to guides, but it kinda does the same thing. Try using snapping candidates. Hoover over the object you want to snap to, then you should see a purple border on your object. If its not visible, you have to turn it on in the snappings tab. Hope this helps
  11. I'm pretty sure that, you only can snap to nodes while having the node tool selected. But the guides that you pull from the rulers are only available when having the move tool selected. Hope this helps.
  12. Great job guys! Btw, pressing the M key doesn't cycle between rectangle, oval and rounded rectangle anymore. Has this been changed?..
  13. Feather doesn't update if.. You make a selection, apply feather, then hit delete. Then undo, change feather amount and hit delete again, feather remains the same. I have to redraw my selection, for the correct feather to apply.
  14. have you watched this one, just a quicktip though.. https://vimeo.com/137227339
  15. Illustrator got Art Boards in version 14 aka CS4 - Designer will get it a lot sooner. I guess what I'm trying to say is, be patient folks ;)
  16. Nope, but you can get some of the way, by pressing the fontmenu, then the first letter of the font your are going to use.
  17. I wish they would add color in the next update. Should not be a big deal to add, but a great help for the user to have :)

    Free fonts

Nooooooooooooooo.. So many bad designed fonts in one place, it burns my eyes
  19. I guess the short answer is they both do the same. Cons - Using layers alone can quickly look overwhelming. PROS - Using groups with layers, will keep your scene more organised.
