When searching for a particular macro in the library panel, the search function currently looks for an "exact" match of the search phrase (case-sensitive). Is it possible to change this, so that the search function is case-insensitive. Otherwise unless you know exactly what case the macro's name is in, the search function may not find the macro you are looking for. Thanks.

Could a future version please include some kind of LUT viewer, so the user can see a preview of the effect the LUT will have on the image. Thanks.

When creating a new brush category - could a future version please present the "rename category" popup automatically, as opposed to calling it "brush", causing the user to then have to click on the options again, to name the newly created category? Thanks.

I need to create a contact sheet of images, in jpg or pdf format - to include in a download. I will shortly be going back to macOS, so I will use automator to do the trick. Maybe one day Affinity Photo might include the ability to create contact sheets natively. I will look into XnViewMP in the meantime. Thank you both.

Hi, Is it possible to automate the making of a contact sheet in Affinity Photo? I have looked around the UI, but cannot seem to find the option. I'm guessing it's not possible, but just thought I would check in case the option existed and I couldn't find it. Thanks.

Bruce, as I just said - I have already done that. I created a donut, then changed the fill to radial. Set my 3 colours, but the gradient doesnt look as expected - the gradient is in a straight line.

Yes, that's exactly what I need. Do you have the affinity file you could post - I am seriously struggling on how to do stuff in Affinity Photo, as I have been using photoshop for 25 years I have my green to red gradient created, but cannot work out how to get the gradient's nodes to bend in a circle??? Your example seems to spiral inwards, whereas mine stays in a straight line?

Hi, My brain seems to be blank today, and I'm struggling with the following concept: I want to create a donut shaped loading bar, with a gradient. I need the 12 o clock position to be green, then as it progresses towards the 3 o clock position, it graduates into yellow, then into orange at the 6 o clock position, then into red at the 12 o clock position again. I simply cannot workout how to get the gradient to bend into a circular shape???? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Im using the latest version of Designer and if you look at the attached screenshot you will see my dilemma. I am trying to square off the bottom of the object on the right, so that it looks the same as the object on the left (horizontal). I basically want the bottom of the object on the right to be horizontally flat, as opposed to diagonal. In Photo, I could simply draw a rectangular marquee along the bottom, and then select CUT, in order to flatten the bottom out, but not sure if it's possible in designer? Hope that explanation made sense Any help appreciated.

Been searching for a LUT previewer app for iPadOS, as it is currently not possible to see what effect the LUT will have on a composition, directly inside Affinity Photo. Could a LUT previewer please be considered for Afffinity Photo on both the desktop and iPad versions?

It is completely impractical to create an image containing all the colours in a swatch, then open it on the iPad, then create a swatch consisting of those colours - especially when you have LOTS of swatches. Thank you.

Hi, I have a layer consisting of a vector shape (curves layer), which I exported as a png file, and then used that png file to create a new intensity brush in Affinity Photo - so I now have that shape in raster brush format. I would now like to convert that same vector shape (curves layer) into a vector brush, but the tutorials I have seen do not actually make any sense. The videos say you need to export as a png, and then use that. If I export as a png - how can it be a vector brush if the png format is obviously raster??? I just need to be able to take a vector layer (curves layer), and convert that into a vector brush so I can scale it as much as I need to. Any clarification would be much appreciated.

I have looked in the help, but can’t seem to find anything regarding the maximum size. Hi, I am making some raster brushes and have a question which I am not sure about: Are there any advantages to creating the brushes in a particular format? I'm not sure if it's best to make the brushes in .abr format, so they can be used in multiple image editing applications, or, make the brushes in .afbrushes format for Affinity users, and then make the brushes again in .abr format for other software users? I need a brush expert to advise me if there are any benefits for Affinity users to have the brushes in a particular format? Thank you all in advance.
