Publisher can create basic PDF files. It cannot create Flipbooks, so you would have to consider something that can convert PDFs to Flipbooks.

Evernote reacted to Don Lee in Cities II, Graphic Chengdu
Graphic Chengdu is the second series of my cities. I spent my college time here, and I have lived here for the recent 3 years.

It's also the first time I have created something entirely with the iPad version's Affinity Designer. I have tried iPad' Designer before, but it cracked too often.
It's four years since I first bought an iPad, but I have never created something. iPad has a powerful M1 chip now, and the function of the Affinity Designer iPad version is the same as the desktop. So I finally decided to make my iPad a sketchbook that I could carry around easily, not only a video player.
Affinity Designer is stable on M1 iPad Pro. It didn't even crack once while I was drawing this illustration.
I would complete this series with my iPad Pro only.

Just in case you want a more robust and easy way to draw this shape in a matter of seconds you can try this:

    Hi Evernote,
This happens when the objects are not correctly pixel aligned. Check if their coordinates (X,Y) are integer values in the Transform panel. If not, click the X and Y input fields in the Transform panel and delete the decimal part for each one. Also check if their width/height are equally integer values in the same panel. You may have to go to Affinity Preferences, User Interface tab, Decimal Places for Unit Types section and change the Pixels value to 3 or more so you can see more decimal places in the Transform panel (and elsewhere).

Note: You may also have to change the document units to pixels temporarily to check their  X,Y values in the Transform panel if you have it set up to a different unit.

The important thing to concentrate on is that the width divided by the number of major divisions must be an integer number (a number with no decimal fractions) if you want the grid to be divided evenly across the width of the document.

It comes down to having a measurement for the grid which will divide into the size of the page/image/document.
12 cm width means you can have 1, 2, 3 (or 6) cm grid divisions. 12.5 cm width means 2.5 cm grid divisions.

    Hope this helps:
Try View > Grid & Axis Manager > Select Show Show Axis editing handles.
Top Left Hand corner now shows the grid axis handle (green & red marker lines)
You can drag by the cross point to move the grid to your liking.
    Stay Safe !

    Try this:
Note the width of your document, for example 1024 px. In the Grid & Axis Manager, click once in the Spacing field to select all of its text. Type the numeric width of your document, followed by "/" (the forward slash divide operator), followed by the number of major grid divisions you want to divide the document width into. So for example so that the field contains "1024/12 px" (without the quotes) for 12 major divisions. Press tab or return to set the field to that value. The document should now have evenly divided major grid lines along its width. If the document is not square, you can do the same thing in the "Advanced" mode by unticking "Uniform" in the Grid type section & using the document height instead of its width in step 3. At least on my Mac with AD 1.8.2, this usually works, but it can be a bit finicky if in step 2 all of the text is not selected, so make sure you do that.
As an aside, if you enable "Show axis editing handles" & the appropriate snapping options are enabled (like snapping to spread midpoints) it is possible to drag & snap the grid origin to the document midpoints.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that it would be nice if the Spacing field accepted expression variables like "w" but that does not seem to work.

As far as I am aware, Grids start from 0,0 (Top left of document) There is no way to specify centre, the only way would be to take the document dimensions and divide equally, so if a document was 100mm you would specify a grid of say 10mm, sub divides would follow accordingly.
The other option would be to increase the document size to fit the grid.
Yet another way would be to use the grid to make a physical grid with curves and power duplicate and position it centrally.

    Hi Evernote,
Yes, it's possible. Go to menu File ▸ Open and select the PSD to open it. Note that not all PSD file format features are supported in Affinity Designer/Photo, like smart objects for example (which are rasterised on import).
