voitek got a reaction from IndieGuy in Spiral Shape Tool for Designer
A spiral shape tool would be vert useful for Designer. Now we have to do some weird workarounds.
It would be nice if it had an editable number of arms
I mean this kind of spiral

voitek reacted to MEB in [AD] Export sometimes adds 1 pixel to file size
Hi voitek,
Make the X,Y coordinates of that artboard integer values (remove the decimal part) in the Transform panel and it will export with the correct dimensions.
To prevent this from happening enable Force Pixel Alignment in the main toolbar (and make sure Move By Whole Pixels - the button immediately on the right - is disabled otherwise the decimal values will be kept when you move the artboards.
Note that If you duplicate the Artboards in the workspace pressing ⌥ (option/alt) and dragging them you are overriding the Snapping options (including Force Pixel Alignment), so use ⌘ (cmd) instead to duplicate them (it honours the snapping settings).

Is move tool going to work more like free transform in Photoshop? I'm not gonna lie, and this is one of the basic tools that work great in PS and doesn't have a real equivalent in Affinity.
Edit: Just watched the clip and it's not the case this time.
