That only rotates the view of the canvas, not the canvas itself; and as been mentioned, it only does that in fixed, 15° increments, not by some arbitrary amount.

rotating every 15 degrees is much more convenient for me than what photoshop offers. As for the fact that it rotates it's "only" a view, not canvas itself, I can't imagine why someone would need to rotate the whole canvas physically, from a keyboard shortcut and by any angle. Usually rotating the workspace is needed when you're drawing something at an awkward angle and need to have a nice line, or see something on different angle.

  2. Leaving aside the princessing of the author of the topic, indeed, there should be shortcuts to this, and you can even define them, I decided to do it the way it is defined in the krita, that is "[" and "]", it works exactly as it should work. in the mentioned photoshop, it is terribly solved, it should works on the same principle as scrolling under the spacebar, that is, active only after pressing and holding the key, and deactivated after, in photoshop it is a separate tool, equivalent to brushes for example.

  3. Resize canvas needs some love, but it's not something that requires reworking millions of lines of code, rather quality of life improvements.
    How it works now:

he size between the X and Y axes is locked by default, which with resize canvas is in my opinion pointless. The anchor is set by default in the upper left corner, it would be more intuitive if it was in the middle.

And most importantly, after accepting the operation and returning to the resize canvas, everything returns to the default state, it should remember the user settings, this is helpful especially when we do similar operations on several files. As I wrote above, this is not something that would require a lot of work, but adding this will significantly facilitate the use of this option of the program.

wow, problems with brushes have been talked about since 2019 and until now there is no solution.

even better, we have 2022 and its still crap. Recently, i try to paint in photoshop, and this app going to be slower and slower over the years, even colorpicking have lag, so i try to import some of my brushes into affinity photo aaaaaaaaand... it was disaster, none of them look like they look at photoshop, it is useless. There a 1000+ brushes to photoshop in internet, and this is one of the reasons that people still painting there, not affinity photo, krita or clip studio. I think this is the time to focus more on painters needs.
