  1. Found my answer, no profile for that lens, odd as Olympus Pro 300 has been around for a few years now, anyway mystery solved I think.
  2. Hi, I have similar problem, 1.7 .380. windows 10. Exif data shows the correct lens but lens profile not loaded, I have lens profile(fresh this week) in the folder and Serif engine but for some reason it will not load/look at the lens profile folder? Library is set view Exif , can see anything else wrong, bit of a loss of what to look for next, any help appreciated I am wondering if to remove 1.6 now- have not used it ever since first 1.7 came out.
  3. I also read that but found it odd it was not fixed at this time, everything worked well before the last release, hey hoe have to wait until the next release I guess. It is not as much a problem but annoying .
  4. Update 240 still has same problem- was there a fix in this release does any one know? thanks
  5. Yes it is a Beta version - you TRY it out for free, if you are not prepared to tolerant a problem in a Beta version then use 1.6. Beta phase generally begins when the software is feature complete but likely to contain a number of known or unknown bugs.[4] Software in the beta phase will generally have many more bugs in it than completed software, speed or performance issues, and may still cause crashes or data loss. The focus of beta testing is reducing impacts to users, often incorporating usability testing. The process of delivering a beta version to the users is called beta release and this is typically the first time that the software is available outside of the organization that developed it. Beta version software is often useful for demonstrations and previews within an organization and to prospective customers. Wiki. End
  6. I am sure it will not be long, the improvements over 1.6 are so great it will be worth the wait IMO.
  7. Same problem with Nikon and Olympus files , Assign ICC Profile to assign to my calibrated monitor profile and it corrects it, however I dont wish to have to fiddle with this each time.
  8. Hello, thanks this is as close to what I would like to do, ideally select one pixel of a colour (say green) and alter the tone/brightness all pixels in the image with that have the same colour. I can do that very easily in the Nikon software Capture NX-D thank you will play further- great product if one could could only remember everything!
  9. I know books are hard to keep up to date but Christmas is coming and I have to provide a list of things I would like- never easy when you get older! Book would be great, one can browse at it when not at the PC. Are there any Affinity Photo books worth having, I looked on Amazon and they were in German, Pointer to an English one would be good please. Thanks
  10. Can we not have comments on this post please just "likes" to show our appreciation and encouragement for the fantastic team who are working on this tremendous product. Great work team, we love it.
  11. Just seen the other posts, all I did was load the RAW image in 32 bit, then develop no adjustments needed really, then new HRD, then add/load the original image - sit back and wait, your dull grey day flat photo will pop out full of life.
  12. done a few of these tonight and wonderful, so easy - thank you very much.
  13. Thanks I have just completed this, not sure how I did it really but thanks, need a few more practice runs.
  14. MBd, I think I am missing a trick here, could you please explain in some more detail. I have done HDR on affinity but a step by step would be useful for doing it on one image , when I go to add the 32 bit image it cant be seen in the add box- search box. I aint to clever!- blow by blow on how to get that one image loaded would be useful please.
  15. I was talking about Photo as well, as an example if you wanted to change the the colour/tone of just the grass in a photo- click/select a pixel in the grass and then adjust all of the greens of the same colour in that photo.
  16. I may be missing a trick here. would like to be able click on a pixel on the photo and change the colour/tone of that pixel together with all similar colours in that picture - say all the green grass - just cant find how to do that. I would say I love the software and still getting to grips with it. may also be useful if some clever people could help is simple people by providing a list of basic things to do to a photo in order of action so we dont try and adjust things in the wrong order and then get lost in the whole thing- if that makes sense.
  17. So I figured out how to select a color from a background image and have it show up in the color picker how did you do that please
