[The Studio Link in Publisher is not recognizing my installed Photo (split)]

Problem solved, thanks everyone for your help.

Basis of the problem was twofold, one Photo and Designer were on an external drive, moved to HD under Applications folder and everything worked. Now to start playing!

Both Designer and Photo are 1.7.1, tried running both programs independently but still did not work. One thing I noticed was whist Designer and Photo appear in Launchpad they do not appear in applications. If this is problem not sure how to rectify.

Thanks I tried it, unfortunately Publisher then caused my Mac to freeze and it took some time to be able to quit Publisher so that my Mac responded again

Hi, I'm Ian, am new to Affinity having used many Serif products in the past but last year changed from a PC to Mac, with no regrets. Unfortunately most Serif products do not run on a Mac so started using PS. Have now discovered Affinity Photo and very pleased with it. Still learning which at my age takes time but I will get there!
